Selena's POV

A long time had passed before I realized that I had been in shock all along. Then Lily came for me when I wouldn’t move and she helped me down the stairs while I held onto her hand for support until we got to my room and she sat me on the bed.

“Are you okay Selena?” she asked me and I looked at her. I was still dazed from what just happened at the throne room but I knew that I had to pull myself together because I had to face reality now and face how dangerous Raymond had become after just one attack.

“Yeah? Yeah, I’m fine Lily. I’m fine” I replied to her while I began to zone out again as I remembered how Raymond’s eyes were looking so murderous and empty when he stabbed that man in the chest just because of what he said to him. I always knew it, no matter how sweet and nice he tried to act to me or anyone else, his true colors were eventually going to come out and show one day and that time had come.
