CHAPTER FORTY

Selena's POV

I finally snapped out my reverie and trance when I realized that I was staring at Raymond way too long for it to just be an act.

The crowd was still cheering for us and I quickly put on a smile to cover up my panicked look after realizing that I may or may not be falling for Raymond all over again. I didn't even know if it was all just an act or if it was real anymore but one thing I knew was that I couldn't let Lily know what was running through my mind at the moment because she was only going to panic and it wasn't going to be beneficial for the two of us.

I was still sticking to Alpha’s plan because no matter what was going to happen or how complicated my feelings were going to get, I still knew that Alpha was the rightful leader of this pack and Raymond stole it from him by betraying him and the pack members that didn't even know what was going on.
