CHAPTER FORTY ONE

Selena's POV

It was in two days' time! My wedding with Raymond was in two days time and I was the one that chose the day.

I was staring at him with wide eyes and I was speechless too because I didn't know what to say in response to what he just asked me when Lily suddenly linked our minds and told me to choose a day that wasn't too far. Without thinking, I spoke out immediately and told him I was okay with having it in two days' time, and the grin that appeared on his face immediately, you would think he won a chunk of wealth.

I sighed as I sat on my bed and made a face. I was stressed and just wanted to sleep in for the night but I couldn't because I had to be present for the dinner feast that was to be held that same night which was just a few hours away.

I should have known this was what I was signing up for when I willingly sacrificed myself for Alpha’s cause so I had no choice but to endure and keep up now. I wasn't used to it though, it was still taking time for me to get used
