Beta Hogan's car was parked a few meters away from Alpha Murphy's palace. He had come to see how things were going in the Pack as he had been contacted by Maria, the new matron in the orphanage, and the Pack was even worse than how he left it.

He had heard from one of the guards he still communicated with that Alpha Murphy had abducted Alpha Drake's mother, and that he had come along with Sassy to take her back the previous day.
