Chapter Twenty Five

Asher was growing increasingly anxious with each passing day that she didn't hear from Aiden. It had been almost a week since he left for his journey to find the seer, and she couldn't shake off the feeling that something was wrong. She decided to go to the elders to see if they had any news.

When she arrived at the elders' meeting place, she found them in deep discussion. They were poring over old texts and maps, muttering among themselves in hushed tones. Asher approached them, feeling a little hesitant, but determined to find out what was going on.

"Excuse me," she said softly, catching their attention. "I was wondering if any of you have heard from Aiden. It's been days since he left, and I'm starting to get worried."

The elders looked at each other, exchanging concerned glances. One of them, a tall, wiry man with a weathered face, stepped forward.
