Chapter Twenty Four

As Aiden traveled deeper into the woods, the forest grew darker and the trees taller. He could feel a sense of mystery in the air as if he was entering a different realm. Aiden's mind was racing as he walked, his thoughts focused on the purpose of his journey.

"Is this the right thing to do?" Aiden asked himself, his voice barely audible above the rustling leaves. "What if the seer cannot help us? What if there is no solution to our problem?"

He walked on, his doubts and fears gnawing at him. "What if Asher blames me for our childlessness? What if I am not good enough for her?" Aiden stopped walking and leaned against a tree, his mind racing.

As he stood there, lost in thought, he heard a rustling in the bushes nearby. He tensed up, reaching for his weapons, but relaxed when he saw a small animal emerge from the undergrowth. The sight of the animal reminded him of his purpose, and he took a deep breath and continued on his journey.
