Being locked in an enormous room filled with hundreds of books for the last fifeen years, Seolurrie yearned for the beautiful outside world that she have read so many times in so many books. *** The world shook do hard that it made a whole portion of Seolurrie's room crumble, she was knocked unconscious and when she woke up she saw the dark sky filled with million stars. For a minute she couldn't hear anything and then earsplitting sounds made her ears ring. Loud screams, screeches, explosions, metallic things crashing. Seolurrie went out from the crumbled wall thinking that her wish has been granted. 'I can finally go outside.' Only to fall on her knees from what she saw.
View MoreYou must never take this necklace off. No matter what happens promise me to never take it off.'
A woman in her early thirties shook the childs shoulder hard as if it will make the child's not to foget her words. The woman was crying as she repeatedly whispered those words over and again while hugging the child.
'You alone should survive. You deserve to.'
As the woman finished her words she pushed the child hard making the child stumble back and in an instant a loud explosion occured where the woman was standing and made the child flew far away because of the impact.
Seolurrie woke up and immediately sat up while grasping her chest.
Pant, pant.
She was panting heavily. After a moment she gradually calmed down.
'A dream. That dream again. I've been dreaming about the same thing for the past few days now. That didn't even happen to me.'
Seolurrie got off from her bed and headed to the bathroom inside her unusually large room while murmuring to herself.
"I should stop reading nightmarish books for a while. Its making me have nightmares."
She brushed her teeth and took a bath. She was wearing her clothes only to stop briefly.
'Have I been even reading those kinds of books?'
She shook her head to dismiss the thought. She looked at the wallclock and saw that it's time for Zara to arrive. And sure enough before she could even turn around the door on her room sprang open.
"Good morning, my dear. Your quiet early today."
She smiled and walked over to Seolurrie. Zara made her sit infront of the mirror so she could brush hair.
"Nery will come later with your breakfast, she will also take your laundry."
Seolurrie smiled at Zara at the mirror, but deep inside her she was smiling saddly.
'Whe will I be able to go outside?'
She wanted to ask that to Zara but chose not to. She still remember the enraged Zara when she first asked that. She was scared of the angry Zara. Of course that was the first and last time she ask that. She doesn't want to see that side of Zara ever again.
'I felt traumatized until now when I think about it.'
As soon as Xara finished brushing Seolurrie's hair she spoke in a soft voice but Seolurrie caught a slight threatening sound behind it.
"Make sure to always follow my requests. Especially the one I always tell you not to do."
Zara saw herself out after giving Seolurrie a kiss on both of her cheeks.
Seolurrie didn't bother ask what did Zara mean on what she said earlier because she clearly know what she meant. It is to never go outside of this walls.
She still remember the times when Zara told her those. When she was still a child Zara always told her not to go outside because there are monsters out there. When she was a teenager she was told that a lot of bad people were after her so she musn't go outside ever.
Seolurrie often asks Zara why there are bad people after her but Zara always silently shrug. And after sometime she grew tired longing for an answer on that particular thing and never bothered to ask ever again. She realized that the question she really wanted to be answered were never meant to be answered at all.
She sighed and stood up from the chair and roam around her room that resembles a library. She picked a book from one of the shelves and sat by the window couch. She stared outside. There was a painting covering the view but because of the theme of the painting it feels like she's looking at a realistic view.
The painting was a sight of nature with different kinds of trees and a lake in the distance can be spotted. She lowered her gaze in her book and started to read.
A couple of hours passed, Seolurrie didn't notice the time because she is so engrossed on her book if not only for her stomach rumbling she wouldn't have stopped reading.
'Why is Nery still not here?'
Seolurrie thought to herself and glanced at the wallclock it stated that it was already eleven o'clock in the morning.
'Could it be because she forgot about it?'
Seolurrie was confused why Nery was still not in yet. She started thinking of the possible reasons, but she could not find one.
First, because Nery never skipped coming into her room. Second, Nery was never late. And third, Nery was a very resposible woman.
'Then what could be the reason?'
Seolurrie tried to get up from the couch only to fall to her butt. The ground began shaking terribly that the books on the bookshelves fell to the floor. She started to get dizzy, but before she completely lost her consciousness she heard a loud shattering of glass and a loud explosion and some rumbling.
***
Seolurrie grabbed her head as she tried to sit up. Only to hiss from the pain on her hand. She looked at her hand and saw some glass shreds penetrated there. She looked around the room even when her head was still aching and her vision still blurry.
Her room was a clomplete mess books scattered on the floor, the windows are shattered and a part of her wall has a huge hole in it. She stared at the hole in her wall for a moment, not moving an inch and then she came to her senses. She quickly stood up and walked rather fast to the hole on her wall. She stopped only a few meters away. One thought kept repeating in her mind.
'Can I finally go outside? Am I be able to see the outside world?'
She hesitantly walked closer to the hole that is big enough for a medium size tree to fit. She was breathing heavily while anticipation can be seen in her dark blue eyes.
When she finally stepped passed the big hole she felt like her heart fell to her stomach. The scenery that she saw was a completely different sight she was expecting to see.
Seoliel's eyes widened when General Griffin hugged her, but what surprised her the most was the next thing he said. "I'm so glad you are alive." General Griffin tried his best not to cry but his tears just streamed down his cheeks. Seoliel looked at her father's back thinking how he knew that she was his daughter. Her gaze turned towards the others. They seemed like they heard what General Griffin just said because of the look on their faces. "What is he talking about?" Drelia frowned at her son's sudden words and actions. She still wasn't able to realize that the woman General Griffin was hugging was actually the former Seolurrie. President Carlton and Mr. Ambrose stood there, the both of them were staring at
Selmish looked towards a certain direction and chuckled under his breath. It hasn't been ten minutes since Seolurrie was gone and he was already feeling an incredible magic force that felt like it was slithering all around the world at a very fast pace.Selmish knew that Seolurrie was back and as Seoliel at that. He instantly knew because of the magic energy he was feeling.'There are no one else except you who could wield Infinity like that. You're back, Seoliel.' Selmish thought.Selmish was so happy and buried deep in his thoughts that he didn't realize that Drelia was already staring at him.Drelia stared at Selmish for a couple of more minutes thinking what might he be looking at and then came to a conclusion. She followed t
'Where am I? I feel like I'm floating. This place...just what is this place. I feel cold but at the same time I feel hot. I can't breathe, but I'm not suffering, in fact I feel more alive than ever.'"You're in my domain, Seolurrie."Seolurrie slowly opened her eyes when she heard the gentle and caring voice. It was an endless darkness. That was what Seolurrie saw after opening her eyes."Am I dead?"She noticed that she didn't feel anything, and that she was literally floating."Yes and no.. The ceremony started just as your heart stopped beating. You are now dead. Your heart has stopped beating, but that was all physical. You died, but your soul is still alive
Just as Seolurrie expected, all of the magic sealing devices President Carlton used to block the gates broke and thanks to her plan of dispatching the hunters in the location of the gates, the damage that would have cost many lives and destruction of structures were suppressed. As soon as Mr. Ambrose finished his job he immediately went at the location of the massive portal and where he parted with Seolurrie. He could barely go near the place for he could not bear the thick air surrounding the field and made it hard for him to breath. He watched everything, from the moment the massive portal opened, when the mysterious man appeared and the moment Seolurrie and the man clashed. He watched as Seolurrie successfully landed a blow to the man and became anxious as he sent her flying back. The Organization President arrived and stood beside him when Seolurrie and the man seemed
Seolurrie strolled towards the place where she slept and grabbed the leather straps along with her new short swords. She wore the leather straps and glanced at the massive dark portal. It crackled with a scarlet light like a lightning. She glared at it as she sauntered towards its front. She can feel the incredible dark magic increasing and burning her skin at every step she took. She stopped right in front of it and reached her hand to try and touch the massive dark portal. Her hands weren't even touching the surface of the massive dark portal when she pulled back and jumped away from it. The massive dark portal crackled more and the dark magic coming from it doubled as its surface cracked. The massive dark portal started its opening phase. Seolurrie put her guard up more than she ever did as she watched how the massive dark portal cracked more. She waited and waited watching her surroundings for any abnormalities. But nothing
"Seolurrie is... dying." He said, while looking at the headmistress. He haven't spoke a single word since earlier when General Griffin came and made him antsy. Aliza halted after hearing Seolurrie's name. She felt a mixture of extreme anxiousness and shock. Since the last time she had a talk with Seolurrie, Aliza felt inferior to her, but at the same time she looked up to her. She didn't want to admit to herself that she treats her as her role model and started abusing the power she holds and the authority she gained. She now felt the thick air and felt suffocated. It became harder and harder to breath and she clutched her chest trying to ease the pain. Drelia was also stunned, but unlike Aliza she immediately pulled herself together even with the anguish that was slowly eating her whole. She pulled Aliza towards Selmish and her son.
