Rohan

The vampire clamped his hand around my throat, squeezing it. It was a male vampire with dark blonde hair which was highlighted by the flames. My eyes darted to the woman who was still buried under the debris. Her brown eyes were filled with fright as she watched the vampire clamp me to the ground.

Some pieces of the roof fell into the fire and it roared. It was coming down soon. I had to do something about it before it was too late.

“You’re going to die here, mutt,” he teased. “You and her.”

That made me snap. I drove my knee into his abdomen and he pulled away from me in pain. At that moment, I rose from the fire and rushed towards the vampire, but he expected me. I swung a fist at him but he dodged it neatly and slammed his fist on my abdomen; instant revenge.

The force sent me flying through the fire and I landed on a wall bringing it down with me. Pieces of the roof came down as well, and I quickly realized that I was about to destroy the whole house, killing myself and t

DamonDinner was over. Sophie was in the kitchen with Amber and they were doing the dishes. My mother, Naomi, preferred to sit at the table alone. I didn’t want her to eavesdrop on our conversation, so Michael and I took a stroll through the darkness until we were out of ear’s reach. The night sky was star-filled and the sound of crickets disturbed the silence that surrounded us. My hands were in my pockets and I recalled the fight I had with Isaiah. It was funny that a kid reminded me of what having a family felt like. I’d been long gone for so many days and obsessed with finding Anna that I’d forgotten that I had a family waiting for me at home. I was loved here. Not just by Sophie or my parents, but the pack as a whole. I couldn’t lie that the infrastructure at the Crescent Pack amazed me, but I was happy that I was still part of something. My people were still alive and there was chaos. I couldn’t say the same for Dayton. I wondered how he was faring with his people. After putt

Stella“What is your problem?!” I groaned in frustration as I dumped the plates into the sink.Jarred was right behind me and was following me like a flea. I hated it. I hated the fact that he was here. I didn’t invite him, but I couldn’t send him away either. That would be too rude. They were keeping both Anna and me here for safety, so this was the little I could do for them. But now that things were getting heated, it was time I spoke my mind. “I’m so sorry, Stella,” he said with a sigh as he leaned against the counter. “It’s hard for me to stay away, believe me. I want to, but I can’t. And I know it’s making you uncomfortable. I’m sorry.”I was surprised that someone like Jarred would apologize that much. He was someone who looked like they would get whatever they wanted anytime. Well, that’s who he had been living with until he met me. All I wanted was to get a less complicated life when I got here, but that seemed impossible. Why? It was a long story. “Are you sure you haven’

RohanDinner was quiet. Maybe that was because of the awkwardness spinning around us. I could barely keep my eyes on Anna, well Jarred couldn’t keep his eyes off Stella. There was something about those two that I didn’t quite understand yet. This was the first time I’d seen Jarred interested in someone. Normally, his eyes were filled with lust, but as he looked at Stella right now, the only thing that was in them was genuine affection. But the most ironic part was that Stella didn’t seem to care. She was focused on her meal, and also at Anna, glancing at her at intervals to ensure she was eating. The silence was becoming morbid by the minute, but I did enjoy Stella’s Parmesan. Stella was also quiet which was so unlike her. She was always chatty and always had a big sense of humor. But tonight alone that seemed absent. Maybe I was the one who was making everybody uncomfortable. I shouldn’t have come inside. I should have gone home and had a proper shower. Tomorrow was a big day. It

  • The Forgotten Luna   Chapter Ninety-Four

DamonI dried my hair vigorously with the towel as I stepped out. I’ve never felt so relieved in a long time. The battle with Isaiah had been one of the best actions I’ve had in a long time. It was still a bit surprising that none of us had been able to take the other down permanently. I felt that deep down, Isaiah didn’t want the fight to end. Perhaps he had been enjoying it as much as I did. That was the difference. I was fighting to kill him while he was fighting for pleasure. I couldn’t forget that he had taken down all three of us in the opera like we were nothing. Another reason he had been able to do that was that we hadn’t been coordinated. We were all after the glory. Well, only me. Dayton had been propelled by rage to attack while Rohan only attacked because he felt threatened. We were all wrong, and that was why he had lost woefully. I was surprised by this insight. Wow. A good shower could make you do anything. I dressed up in a few pairs of clothes. A black shirt and so

RohanI stood on the porch of Anna’s house contemplating whether I should go in. It was dark now, and the crickets sang loudly. I shouldn’t be here. I should be home, getting some rest. But after the confrontation that happened between us in the parking lot, I couldn’t help but feel powerless. She was my mate, and she was having twins which must be difficult for her. She needed a shoulder to lean on. My shoulder. But I hadn’t been there. But now was the time to change that. Well, there was still time. But I felt uneasy. What if she realizes that she doesn’t need me? What if she decides to head back to Blue Valley? Could I stop her? No. It would be her decision. I was confused about my thoughts. Why was I thinking so much? We weren’t together. We both just realized that we were mates. And she’d told me to reject her. Which I didn’t. I ran my fingers through my hair in frustration. What’s wrong with me? I was slowly losing it. I’d battled a decades-old vampire, and yet I was scared t

  • The Forgotten Luna   Chapter Ninety-Two

DamonThe SUV came to a halt at the driveway of the house. How long has it been since I was here? Two weeks. That seemed like a long time. I was surprised that the pack was still in one piece. Well, not that surprising because my father was in charge. He would know how to handle everything. The songs of the crickets grew louder as I stepped out of the car. I wonder what I was going to tell Sophie when I got inside. I was certain that she was worried for days. I hadn’t been able to communicate with her because I’d been stuck in the hospital and chasing Isaiah. It was all too much but that excuse won’t be enough to get me out of the trouble that was coming. The purple skies free darker as twilight faded away slowly. Night was fast approaching, and it was time I got some rest. It’s been a long two weeks. Longer than I’d imagined. As I walked towards the house, the door swung open and Sophie stepped out. Sis was dressed in a white gown with her blonde hair falling down her shoulders. H
