Chapter 4

Waking up, stretching her body out something felt off in her room, she was almost afraid to open her eyes when her mother spoke.

"Avoid me all you want, but sleeping in when you are supposed to be at training? Get up child! I know you are awake. Get dressed then run down grab a granola bar and head to the training grounds. If you're lucky you won't have to run extra laps. Scoot."

'Ugh I hate when she tells us to scoot. We are so screwed if they are leading training today!' With that she hurried up, throwing on her sports bra with some yoga pants, everyone gets upset with her but she never wears sneakers and always trains barefoot. As she got dressed she checked her hip, little white scarring was there, so odd considering she has never scarred before, what was different about an Alpha's scratch that would scar her.

'At least it's faint, no one should notice' her wolf said, not that anyone ever really notices me anyway.

Running down the stairs she grabbed a bar off of the counter before leaping out the door, running towards the training field.

She slipped in as they were still just standing around, some stretching but no warm up have begun. She sighed in relief when the instructors started talking.

"Well, now that everyone is finally here we no longer have to wait to finally begin"

She looked up to see Beta Leif standing there eyeing her intensely. Her breath hitched as she realized most of the people there were looking at her now, she felt extremely uncomfortable as the whispers started.

"Can't believe we had to wait for her"

"This bitch, she doesn't even shift"

"Always her causing issues"

"So tired of her, wish she'd mate and leave"

"I think she's pretty"

One voice came across as she was trying to tune the rest out, that little voice made her smile slightly as she looked down with her hair covering her face.

She used to have friends, she still has the one, but even Anabel is different towards her since those two started picking on me. They tell everyone to stay away from me so they do, Anabel is the only one that never listened, but we also aren't as close this past year as we had been.

She used to tell me that they would get over it, move on to someone else, but when they didn't she got distant.

I just wanted to train, then go home before having to attend this party, no one will want her there, hopefully she can go unnoticed there since she can't seem to here.

"Everyone break up into partners for sparring!"

No one even glanced her way, they all turned in different directions finding someone to train with, I was used to that but usually she had Anabel, but she didn't seem to be here today.

'Ana, you coming to training?' She linked her.

'Oh shit, sorry, no, I meant to tell you, I was sent on an errand by the Beta himself for things that are needed tonight, I couldn't refuse. Good luck'

Her heart skipped a beat as she started to walk off to the side getting out of everyone's way when a hand grabbed her sending shiver straight down her spine and directly to her core.

'Holy fuck, that's an intense feeling'

Her eyes looked down at the hand before she had the courage to look up. She looked carefully before dragging her eyes slowly up his arm, noticing his bare chest, the ripples upon ripples of muscles, 'Oh my Goddess is that an 8 pack!?' Her wolf pacing in her head not helping her already apparent arousal she was trying to hide, when she made her way up to his face, that strong squared jaw, perfectly plump light pink lips, high cheek bones like a God then those gorgeous green eyes that were swirling with black as he stared down at her, watching her check him out which in turn made him smirk.

To her that smirk looked devilish, not like something that made him happy, but more sinister.

"Where do you think you are going? Already late, now trying to dodge training." He looked around, "No partner today I see"

She bowed her head, baring her neck which she thought she heard him growl lightly as she did scaring her even more.

"I do not, have a partner, she was sent on errands by you sir. I apologize for being late, it wasn't intentional, it won't happen again I swear."

"Look at me when you speak to me little one" he said quietly, yet still demanding so she looked up, her hair falling back from her face because of the sheer height difference.

"I apologize again Beta."

"You can train against me today" he stated blankly at her showing no emotions at all.

At this Davina felt very uneasy, no one trains with the Beta besides the Alpha, how could she ever keep up with him?

Following him over to an open spot he got into position.

"I'll only do defense, come at me"

By now we had quite a few eyes on us, my heart was racing as I stood there stunned.

"Now" his voice thundered with authority snapping Davina back to reality.

She lunged at him quickly 'fast steps love, he's big but I bet we're faster' she quickly hit before dipping behind him where she proceeded to kick behind his knee forcing his leg to bend as he wobbled a bit, at that she jumped to his back forcing a head lock but her arms barley made their way around the size of his neck when he reached back, grabbing her hair, swinging her forward as she slammed to the ground knocking the wind out of her.

He looked down at her panting slightly, "You really should put your hair up, but nice effort, AGAIN" He smirked in her direction as she stood back up getting into position.

Again she lunged but as he reached up in anticipation of her she lowered herself kicking him in the calf, then shifting her body to the side of him where she kidney shot him. She went to go for his back again but he turned grabbing her arm, she slipped to the side but then threw her legs up, using his arm as she kicked him square in the jaw when his hand released her arm she slipped between his legs, the swept her legs at his feet knocking him down on his back.

She jumped on top of him without thinking as she attempted to pin him, but then he instantly flipped them over, he was on top of her with his arm at her throat. She struggled a bit before knowing she was done so she tapped.

He looked down at her as he moved his arm to the side of her head, then he looked up at everyone watching them "GET BACK TO WORK YOU LAZY SHITS, THIS WASN'T A SHOW" everyone gasped as they scrambled to go back to training.

She looked up at him when he leaned down and whisperednin her ear "Who would think someone so small could fight so well" His hot breath fanning her ear as he pushed her hair back "You really should wear this up when you fight" then he inhaled her scent in the crook of her neck.

When he did that it sent a shocking wave of electricity down her body to her core, she instantly felt herself get wet as she tried to tightly push her legs together he lifted his head, his eyes were black as he swirled his neck around inhaling the smells around him before he looked down at her with hunger in his eyes.

Her eyes widened as they shifted silver at him before she blinked quickly then opening them they were blue again. His head tilted as her looked at her, he had never seen her eyes shift before, let alone ever seen silver glowing eyes like that.

Lifting up off of her his eyes swirled before going back to green as he kept staring at her with a look that made her feel very uneasy. She got up, looked around then back to him before she took off running back towards the woods.

'Holy shit! He saw our eyes! We will be in so much trouble.'

She shook her head in fear and disappointment in herself, she always maintains control, what happened?

'I'm sorry, I couldn't control myself, he pulled me forward with the way he was on us, the way his nose grazed our marking spot as he inhaled us, something took over me'

'I know, I felt it too, but I don't understand why, we felt this with the Alpha last night too, he didn't get close enough like that though so keeping control was easier, it has to be the full moon. I'm scared about tonight, there has to be a way to avoid it'

After her inner turmoil she heard something, sniffing the air around her she noticed the scent, it was the Alpha, he was close.

'We need to get out of here and home'

As she turned around it was to late, he was there, directly behind her that when she turned she slammed directly into his chest knocking her back a few steps.

"Ouch!" she rubbed her nose before looking up to see him looking down at her with a scowl on his face.

"I apologize Alpha, I didn't realize you were there, I never would have..." his growl cut her off, she bared her neck in submission.

"You smell of my Beta little one"

She looked in his eyes they were glowing amber like they were at her window last night.

"I didn't have a partner for sparring so he sparred with me, he managed to pin me at the end so that is probably why"

He kept staring at her as he sniffed the air 'Holy shit can he smell that we had been aroused?'

His eyes darkened before they snapped back to her, then he starts gazing down her body slowly and it oddly starts arousing her again 'No! not with just his look!'

'Damn full moon, we need to go home now Davina'

He stepped closer to her making her stiffen, her heart beating so loudly she was sure he could hear it.

He looked down to see her hip, he slowly pulled her pants down to examine her when he noticed the scarring.

"How did you not heal properly? Don't you have your wolf? I can sense her."

She nodded, "Yes I have my wolf, I don't know how I scarred and didn't heal, it's never happened before."

He backed away from her slightly, "Shift for me"

Davina's entire body tensed up, tears filling her eyes "Please Alpha, I've never shifted in front of anyone, I'm just a weak wolf, my parents don't allow me, please."

She grabbed his hand in her tiny one, it sent those same shocks through her that happened with the Beta, but she held tight looking up to him, her eyes full of fear.

"I know you hate me, but please, I beg of you, don't make me do this, I'll do anything"

As he looked down into her pleading eyes then to her hands as they held his so tightly, shocks of electricity flowing through them.

Quickly he pulled his hands from hers, looking at her, "Go home little one, I better see you at the party in a few hours." Then he turned swiftly walking away from her.

Davina stood there for a moment, trying to gather herself before jogging home.

When Davina got home she rushed inside passed her parents to her bathroom, stripping of her clothes as she stood under the hot water pouring down onto her.
