Chapter -1

Jay. POV.

I put the order of the cappuccino with some freshly baked cookies by me on the counter table from where Sam who is the helper in my bakery took it and gave it to the owner of the order.  Then I went back to bake the pre-ordered  birthday cake whose due was tonight. My work is to just keep it ready because after that Simon who is a part time worker in my bakery will deliver it. Simon is a graduate student and gets free only at night and need money for his expenses so I have hired him because he is hardworking and honest. 

Sam is a teenage boy who has just turned sixteen and is homeschooled by his parents and pays for his tution by his hard earned money. He works from 9:00 am to 2: 00 pm and after that Jake who is also a teenage student takes over the world of Sam. 

I also have a helper named Jenna who helps me is decorating the cakes, cookies and pastries. She is very creative and it is making because of her decorating that the customers gets  attracted to my bakery. Jenna is a very good cook and sometimes when I am out of town she is the one who bakes. 

On the billing counter we have Amanda who is  thirty five year old pregnant lady who is three months pregnant. It was very difficult for her to get pregnant and when she finally got pregnant she was little anxious so her husband Max who is a good friend of mine suggested for her to work so that she could take her mind off the anxiety and over thinking. 

I saw it was already 12:00 pm so I went to Amanda and asked her

"Amanda did have the meal and meds. "

She smiled and said

"Done Mother. "

I laughed at her response and then took out a big cup of boiled milk from the freezer and gave it to her. From her expression I know that she wanted to argue but my look made her gave in and she quietly took the cup and took a small and lazy sip from it. 

At 1:00 pm we closed the bakery for half and hour and then together we all had our lunch. It is a rule that no one skips lunch and while eating together we can enjoy and deepen our bonds. 

At 7:00 pm I closed the bakery and everyone has left because we all will get up at 6:00  am in the morning. Peter who is also an employee in my bakery responsible for cleaning purpose leaves with me.  I have a motorbike and he stays in the same area as mine so I drop him off. I have also packed the leftovers for him. We are not usually left with any leftovers but if we do then anyone who needs it can take it. We don't like to throw away the food. Every we have strict rule of no food wastage. The customers who are unable to finish their food, we pack it for them even if it is little bit because if we will respect food then only we will get the food in our dire needs. 

After dropping Peter I went to my parents house who live with my married elder brother Tawan and Julia and their lovely son and my cutie  nephew Mick.  I have a small villa beside my parents where I live because I love my privacy and likes to give privacy to my parents. 

Since the day I have come out of the closet no one has judged me. Instead they all have supported me which makes me very warm and loved. 

Even though for my sake the accept me for who I am but I know that somehow they wished for me to be a straight guy so I moved out of the house so that when they will fully accept me then I can live with them freely and for long days. 

I pressed the bell button and when the door opened I saw my cutie three year old  Mick in a dragon onsie. I quickly picked him up and smothered him up with kisses which gave me his beautiful giggled in return. I held him with my one hand and picked up the pastries which I have brought for him in other hand and then went inside where my parents were sitting on the sofa in the lobby and my sister in law was cooking in the kitchen. My elder brother is in the office doing the company's work. I greeted my parents whose names are Eric and Vanessa . 

Then I went inside the kitchen after handing over the Mick to my parents . I  washed my hands and the took out the small plate where I placed the fruit pastry on it and gave it to Mick who was eagerly waiting for it. And after receiving it he said

"Thank you Uncle Jay." And then have me a peck on the cheek and started eating. My parents were smiling at our interaction. When I went inside I saw Julia and I know what she wanted to say. So I told her

"Don't worry sister in law. That pastry is a fruit one and all the ingredients inside it are organic and there are no preservatives and sugar in it. I know it. "

Julia smiled and shook her head and said

"I think you are more of a mother than me as you take care of Mick more than me and I am happy and very thankful to you. "

"Sister in law, Mick is also my only Nephew and if I will not be good  to him then to whom Will I be? And on top of that no one can ignore such a cute little gentleman you have made him to be. So it is my pleasure. "

After that I started helping my sister in law with the cooking and after the dinner was ready I ste the table and Julia went to call my brother for dinner and together we eat the food with smiles and heartwarming talks. 

After the dinner I washed the dishes and my elder brother cleaned the counter and the dining table. By the time we were done everyone has gone to sleep and I also bade goodbye to my brother  who wanted me to stay in the house but I  went to my villa and when I entered the villa it was dark and switched on the  lights and with the automatic control drew  all the curtains. 

Then I entered my room and removed all my clothes and went inside the washroom and took a quick shower. As I stay alone so there is no need for me to feel embarassed.

I could feel the water trailing down my tattoed back . The tattoo which I have on my back is a dragon tattoo. I got this tattoo because I have a scarred back which I got when I saved a kid during my teenage years from bulling . Someone threw the acid which burnt my back . Although the acid was not strong enough to kill me but it did leave some scars and I wear this tattoo with pride because it reminds me that I did save someone's life. I also have tattoos on the bisceps which are the claws from the dragon wings. My whole tattoo looks like as if a drogon has been hugging me from the behind. I like to workout so I have got muscles on all the right places which six pack abs which I have to maintain otherwise it can vanish within the blink of an eye. 

After the bath I dried myself and applied some moisturizer of my bed and went to sleep naked because that is more comfortable and why not because this is my house and I live alone.
