Chapter 5: The Light Of Deity

After escorting the young recruits, the deity of 9th space went to the gathering place of the deities.

“Oh, number nine!” Everyone was so excited to see the 9th deity.

“Hey, I have a name. My name is Maley! Don’t call me number nine!”- The 9th deity always tries to look serious.

“OMG! Maley! Are you still annoyed with names?”- the Perian deity said.

Maley was about to say something when an old voice resounded: “Maley, Perian, you two just come here, don’t argue!”

Then a white-haired with a cane appeared.

Maley was shocked a bit: “Teran, you still like to be an old man, right?”

The old man knocked his wooden cane: “Maley, respect the elderly! respect the elderly!”

Maley smiled: “What? You look like an old man but the truth is that you’re even 2 years younger than us. You are just over our position, man.”

“...”

These two twin brothers are still ill-mannered as usual.

“Come on! I arranged places for all of you. For the time being in the next eight hundred years, we won't need to worry anymore!”- Teran said.

Perian let out a sigh of relief and went inside with Teran.

Maley is still standing there, thinking about the girl he met today. When thinking about that calm girl, he suddenly sighed with regret.

“She’s going to have a hard time. As the one who chose you, I sincerely hope you can overcome all the upcoming difficulties and make the right choice in your life.” -he thought.

Then he quickly went inside.

Now, the White Space was silent and white.

After being taken from Maley's space, Olivia lost consciousness. Not only did this problem happen to Olivia, but it also happened to all the other members chosen by the deities that governed the ten spaces.

“It happens all the time, right?”

Pure looked at the thirteen young recruits lying on the bed and sighed deeply. She was depressed.

Every time, just after selecting the representative, all the young recruits fell asleep.

“When will these problems be solved?”- Pure wondered.

Lowen agreed with her opinion: “And this time is even more horrible. Oliwen, can you be silent?”

Oliwen was worried for Olivia, he even cried. Pure told him to leave. He looked at Pure with a painful expression.

“Pure, are you crazy? The child that I have raised for eight hundred years is lying here and I don’t know if she's still alive or not!”

Eight hundred years is a long time and Oliwen loves Olivia like his daughter.

Pure looked at Oliwen and Olivia. She knows that Olivia can’t die, but she didn’t say anything. She wanted Oliwen to take care of Olivia more.

Now, Oliwen only focused on Olivia. He will trade everything for Olivia to get better.

possibly due to Oliwen's perseverance that Olivia recovered much earlier than the others. Oliwen was so delighted.

Olivia looked at all the adults around her, they were all several hundred thousand years older than herself, the little girl was startled.

“Mr. Oliwen, how long have I fainted?” -She spoke with a halt.

Oliwen was so happy that he burst into tears.

“For about two days. But don’t worry, other recruits are just like you. Are you tired?”- Pure said.

“No, I’m feeling quite good.”- Olivia shook her head.

“So, do you feel different in yourself?” -Pure continued to ask.

Olivia shook her head again.

“That’s good.”

“Take this annoying man away.”- she said.

From the corner appeared several men approached and grabbed Oliwen's arm, dragging him away in everyone's disappointed looks.

Olivia looked at Pure with anxiety: “Miss Pure, What’s wrong with him?”

“You don't need to pay attention to him, stay here, rest, and wait until the others wake up, I'll come back.”

Olivia looked around, determined that everyone had left then she slowly took out a sparkling yellow stone. She contemplated the stone and smiled. It can be seen in her eyes how happy she was.

“This stone is beautiful and sparkling. I don’t want to give it to anyone.”

The yellow stone shines brightly in her eyes. Olivia couldn’t help staring at the stone. This may be the greatest stone she has ever seen.
