Chapter 7

Talia

As I’m walking through the woods leading to Enzo’s cabin I smell the most delicious smell. I moan, ‘Steak and rice and is that green beans?’ Soteria responds, ‘He really knows how to feel our bodies in both ways.’ She snickers. I just smile. I continue my way to his door but instead of knocking I open the door. “Hey Beary! Why how did you know I was hungry?” I chuckle. “Because you are always hungry and are always thinking of your next meal.” Was his response. We both laugh because he is not wrong. I love food.

I walk up behind him and wrap my arms around his muscular waist. “Smells so good.” I moaned out. “Thank you! I knew my cologne would get to you one day.” He says, and we both laugh as I playfully hit him. He turns the stove off and spins around to kiss me. “How was your day so far Wolfie?” He asks. I tell him how things went after he left the meeting and how my planning was. Everyone seems to understand.

“That’s good. I do want to bring something up to about Gamma Riley, but it would have to wait until we go to our secure location. I don’t want any potential spies to overhear.” He tells me. I look at him in shock. “You found something didn’t you?” He puts his finer to my mouth and say, “Shhh, secure location then we will talk about it.” I roll my eyes, “Fine.”

He turns back around and places our food onto plates and without thinking I go to sit down. Enzo clears his throat to get my attention, so I look at him before I sit. He walks over smacks my butt and pulls out the chair for me and says, “ I thought I told you to let me take care of you when I’m here.” He was stern, I honestly forgot he told me that. “Well, can I sit then, or are you just going to complain about me forgetting?” I asked directly.

He growls and reaches over to guide me into the chair. I smile up at him. “Such a brat.” Was his response. I shrug my shoulders and wait for him to join me. We eat our meals and talk about our plans for tomorrow and what we will do tonight. I invite him over for dinner so that was he could see Adina as well. He said he would.

After lunch we had sex and I nestled into his arms afterwards. He was softly running his fingers up and down my arm. I was doing the same to his chest. “I like this a lot.” He says softly. I just hum in response. He kisses my head and lifts me on top of him. I always lull of to sleep when he does this. Soon sleep follows.
