Flashback

                       10 years ago 

I was sleeping peacefully in his arms when we hear loud growls from the forest. My grip on Mat's s t shirt firm as I hug him more tightly.

Few minutes more. Please. 

“ What’s happening?”

He asks. Getting up from his sleep. Looking around in confusion. When I instead coil my arms around his neck. Placing my cheek on his chest, to hear his beating heart.

“ Nothing. Let’s just sleep”

I try , knowing it was of no use. As he looks down at me. Moving his fingers through my hair to place a featherly kiss on my forehead.

“ I need to check, Peaches. It may be an emergency.”

I refuse to let him go. Tightening my grip further to have him smile softly. Placing his palms on my cheek. He makes me look up at him. His grey eyes looking at me like I am the most precious thing
