Sage P.O.V.

“Yeah… just like that…”

"Yes, suck my cock, baby," I said out loud while I was asleep.

"Oh yeah, just like that, suck my cock, yes, good girl," I spoke out loud.

I am dreaming a wonderful dream, and damn, it feels real.

I am about to lose my load big time. It's amazing. I'm dreaming about Amanda licking, sucking, and nibbling on me like a lollipop.

I am almost there, moaning and groaning.

I wanted to give her what I have.

"It's coming," I tell her when I hear someone moan.

"Yeah, baby, now give me that cum. I want it." She says.

But it's not Amanda's voice.

What the fuck? Why does this feel so real?

Then I felt a wet tongue licking my balls as I exploded.

Wow, it's wonderful. I am exhausted. As I was coming down from my high, I woke up.

I see that whore I used to date.

Well, today, she will know I am breaking up with her, and she just pissed me off.

I wish it were my mate that was pleasing me, damn it!

"Damn, Vanessa had to mess this up for us, "Lee growled through mind link.

I am dreaming of my mate.

I was so worked up from coming back from her house the night before.

When I snuck into her room without her knowing.

I took a shower and had to wank in the shower three times to finally calm down.

The words slipped out before I even realized I was speaking.

The dream felt too real—heat, pressure, the slow build of something I couldn’t stop. My body tightened, chasing the edge, and all I could think about was her.

My mate.

I didn’t even know what I would do when I saw my mate again at school, but I can't wait to finally get my hands on her again.

Knew the way she whimpered and moaned for me when I was touching her and wrapped around me when I surprised her at her car, as she wrapped around my legs, as she belonged there.

“Almost there,” I muttered.

A soft voice answered—but something about it was wrong.

Too sharp. Too familiar.

My eyes snapped open.

Reality hit like a punch.

Vanessa.

Not my mate.

Her hands, her mouth—everything felt wrong now that I was awake. The connection I’d felt seconds ago vanished, leaving behind nothing but irritation.

A low growl rumbled in my chest.

“Told you,” Lee snapped inside my head. “She’s not ours.”

I clenched my jaw, forcing myself to sit up.

“Vanessa. Stop.”

She didn’t.

Of course, she didn’t.

Frustration burned hotter now, mixing with something darker—something final.

This wasn’t a desire.

It was a habit. Convenience.

And I was done with both.

“Get her out,” Lee growled, quieter this time, more dangerous. “Now.”

I grabbed her wrist, pulling her away from me.

“That’s enough.”

She froze, finally hearing the tone in my voice.

Confusion flickered across her face. “What’s wrong with you?”

Everything.

But I didn’t say that.

Instead, I ran a hand through my hair and exhaled slowly.

“I’ve got things to do today,” I said. “You should go.”

Her expression shifted—hurt, then frustration. “Sage, seriously? We’ve barely—”

“I said go.”

The room went quiet.

For a second, I thought she might argue.

Then she grabbed her clothes, movements sharp and tense.

“Fine,” she muttered.

I didn’t stop her.

Didn’t reach for her.

Didn’t feel a damn thing when the door closed behind her.

Only one thing stayed with me.

The memory of that dream.

Of her.

My mate.

“We’ll find her,” Lee said, calmer now.

I exhaled, staring at the empty room.

“Yeah,” I muttered.

“I need to.”

Our Human Mandy is our Mate.

Ella P.O.VA low giggle echoed again from Tiffany’s room, followed by a thump and Seb’s unmistakable laugh. Zade let out a slow exhale behind me—half amused, half annoyed. Then he leaned in.His lips brushed the edge of my ear, and the warmth of his breath sent a shiver straight down my spine. When he spoke, his voice was a deep, rough whisper—almost a growl.“Sounds like my brother and Tiffany are having their fun,” he murmured. “But I’m far more interested in us.”My breath caught.Zade’s hand slid gently along my arm—not rushing, not pushing, just letting his touch linger, deliberate and warm.He tilted his head, so his forehead rested against the back of mine. “Stay with me,” he whispered. “I want this moment. Just you and me… nothing else.”From across the hall, another giggle drifted through the air—but it felt distant now, fading under the steady pull of Zade’s presence. He didn’t need to say anything more. The tension between us said enough.Zade pressed closer behind me, his

My heart raced, adrenaline and bond-fueled courage flooding every nerve.Zade’s wolf form growled low, a deep vibration that shook the rooftop. He lunged forward, claws aimed to disrupt Rose’s concentration while I sent a spiraling ribbon of silver light toward her, sharp and precise, aimed at breaking the swirl of her dark aura. She hissed, twisting sideways, her hands forming intricate symbols in the air. A pulse of black energy shot toward Tiffany, who ducked behind a protective smoke barrier, muttering a few rapid incantations that deflected the blast.Seb’s voice rang out, chanting a ward that shimmered into existence, creating a protective dome over all of us. “Focus, Ella!” he yelled. “Her magic feeds off fear—don’t give her any!”I took a deep breath, letting the Moon-Touched energy respond naturally to my heartbeat. The silver light swirl

My heartbeat felt bigger than my body, like it echoed through the whole forest.Zade didn’t step back. He stepped closer. His eyes softened as he studied the light drifting off my skin.“You being Moon‑Touched…” he whispered, voice deep and reverent, “it means you were chosen at birth. Marked by the Moon Goddess herself.”My breath caught. Chosen? For what?”Zade took my hands gently, his thumbs brushing across my glowing palms. The bond hummed at the touch, warm and electric.“For power. “For intuition. “For destiny.”He swallowed, eyes locking onto mine. For me.”A shiver ran down my spine.“You’re rare, Ella. Only a few wolves in each generation carry the Moon’s direct blessing. You can feel magic. Sense life. Heal. His eyes—gods, those eyes—held a storm of emotion I could barely stand to look at.My breath shook. My hands trembled. Ella’s P.O.V.My legs were burning, lungs tight, but I couldn’t stop running—not yet. Tiffany stayed right beside me, matching my pace, our footsteps thundering across the forest floor. The scent-blocker we’d used was fading; I knew it. I could feel it peeling away like thin paper. And underneath it…I felt him.A tug.A pull.A sharp, undeniable thread dragging itself through my chest.Zade.My heart nearly tripped over itself just thinking his name. The bond was awake—alive in a way it hadn’t been in four years. A glowing, magnetic cord stretched between us, humming under my skin. It made me dizzy, breathless, and overwhelmed.“Ella—slow down!” Tiffany grabbed my arm, trying to stop me, but I ripped myself away.“I can’t,” I gasped. “He’s close. Tiff, I can feel him—he’s awake.”She looked at me with wide, frightened eyes. “Rose must’ve lost control of the spell—”“She didn’t lose control,” I whispered, chest heaving. “She never had it.”A branch cracked in the distance. My body froze
