Not so powerful Part 2

"What are we exactly looking for?" Alexander asked me as we walked down a set of stairs.

"I don't know." I lied as I willed my chest to relax. My soul was quiet and it made me wonder did it know what was about to happen.

"She's lying." Tod exclaimed loudly. I ignored him and the few mumbled from some of the other Gods following me.

"I believe you." He lied. We both knew that he didn't. No matter what he said he would never trust me again and he had good reason.

"This way." Zavier said once we descended the stairs completely. I went stiff causing Alexander to look at me.

"Is everything okay?" He asked. I gave a small fake smile and shook my hand.

He lifted my face up and leaned down and gave me a soft kiss. My lips moved on there own and before I knew it I was against a wall.

Alarms were going off in my mind reminding me of my goal but I was helpless.

Alexander pulled back and smirked as he licked his lips. I looked into his gray eyes that were smothering.
