"There's nothing in here." Tod mumbled as everyone walked into the circle sized room.

My chest tightened and my soul was now extremely active and desperately trying go get closer to Alexander. I tried to move away so it did not somehow make him aware but his hold was tight.

I jumped a little from Alexander leaning into me and whispering. "What's wrong my love."

"Nothing." I choked out not meaning too. "I was not talking to you but since you answered can you tell me what's wrong with your soul." He whispered softly.

I stiffened a little and willed myself to be strong. The black dagger was right in front of me in its glass case. All I had to do was put my hand through the magical barrier and all would be back to normal.
