Chapter 20 Making plans for rescue 

I entered my cabin and smiled happily. The inside was just as I remembered leaving it. I told Claire that she could lay Amanda down on the bed upstairs and she carried the little child up the stairs as I headed out to my back porch. I was glancing at everything that had been updated as Griffin came to my side.

"Hope everything is alright with you. I used my pack workers because they are great and work quickly," he mumbled softly. I rose on my tiptoes to kiss his cheek to thank him and felt an electrical shock on my lip. I rubbed at it and apologized for shocking him, certain it was due to me shuffling across the wool rug in my living room. Griffin stood there and eyed me perplexed. Enzo came and wrapped his arm around both of us and chuckled.

"Did I ever tell you two that I used to be a fortune teller in Romania," he said cheerfully and glanced hard at the both of us shaking our heads no at him.

"Well I was and I was exceptional at it, I was never wrong in what I predicted," he added.
