Syria’s POV

"Fuck this."

I winced as Kael charged at me out of the blue.

There was no warning. He pushed aside Angus as if he were nothing!

Angus took a step back, completely shocked at what Kael just did to him.

“What the hell?!"

But Kael did not glance at him. He approached me directly, his eyes locked on me as if I were the only person in his world.

His expression was intense. It was cold, serious, and stubborn.

"You're going with me!"

Before I could utter a word, he swept me up into his arms like a bride, right in front of everyone. I was taken aback, and so was everyone else!

Angus's tribe members just stayed there, frozen.

“What is he doing?!"

Panic ran through my system. I started struggling in his arms.

“Put me down!" I shouted. "Please…Kael, release me!

He said nothing. He didn't even flinch. It was like he didn't mind that I was shoving against his chest to move away.

"Cut it out! Get me down!" I shouted, my voice growing louder. "I'm not going with you. Not again!"
