The Governor’s Son Chapter 12

MAXINE NERVAR is patiently waiting for the red light to be green, but there’s a few fast cars on the street trying to get to the other side before it turns green.

She is holding their viand for the noon since after her request of an attorney to help them with the pending case. She witnesses her neighbour on the other side—fortunately, she can save some time to give her the viand for Denver and goes to work.

“MARE!” she shouts and her neighbour hears her call. She waves and looks at the traffic light. There’s still fifteen seconds before turning green, however, Maxine wants to give the viand for his son.

There’s a car far away so she walks fast across the street. Nonetheless, the car turns speedy because the red light is now turning orange.

“MARE!” her neighbour shouts and Maxine tries to run, but it was too late.
