Chapter 4

The Governor's Son Chapter 4

DON ANGELITO is thrilled when realizing the cute boy is lying about his oath. He cannot understand himself when his body is heating in anger. He is biting his lower lip when it's been two days when inspector Lotus Medina confesses.

He opens his cabinet, and a small secret closet opens to reveal his gun. While holding it—Angelito feels the urge to shoot him dead in front of their gate in the middle of the night.

However, there is a particular part inside him, which doesn't want to hurt Denver. He is confused, putting back the gun and closing the secret closet. Why did I become like this? Angelito asked himself what was going on.

He breathes so deep as he gets his jacket and drives his jeep up to the police station. Upon arriving at the Valenzuela Police Station…. Angelito walks calmly, watching different police officers, but they recognize the governor's son.

"Don Angel," they greeted him even Angelito didn't recognize their faces. He nods to welcome them as inspector Medina stands up to assist him up to the police desk.

"These cases are heavy, Don. Do you want me to do something to revoke this one—"

"No, please don't. I will make my own way to revoke his decision. Hold the case and do not file it in your system. I need a splendid and crystal clear record. Do you understand what I mean, Lotus?"

For his age, Angelito is so scary because his presence is terrifying. He is like his Papá in every angle.

"Did he bring his mother with him?" he added his inquiry. The inspector nodded. "Unfortunately, yes, Don Angel," he responded politely. Angelito's face is cold and tedious, but his hands are clutching on the table.

Inspector holds it. "Don't worry, my loyalty to the governor is rock solid. I will handle this one; your name is now sweet-smelling to the public since the last trial."

Angelito's I*******m followers have increased since he was exposed on television.

Medina speaks, "today's law is not that hefty because when you are good looking, the public will appeal sympathy so the sentence will not be heavy. How ridiculous, isn't it?"

He sighed a deep breath. "I don't have any comments with that, Lotus. Will he go back as we planned?"

The inspector chuckles in excitement. "Now look who's at your back, Don Angel."

Angelito's heart skipped a beat. He doesn't expect to see him this early after his arrival. Their timing is genuinely captivating. Inspector Medina's smile intimidates Denver, who halts his footstep when seeing the man he complained.

Denver immediately stares in the other direction—far away from his eyes. Angelito moistens his lips to twitch an evil smile.

"Please sit down, Mr Denver. Are you here for the next meeting of your complaint?" Lotus Medina approaches him—questioning in a soft and lovely tone.

The table turns when he is now on the hot seat. His throat is drying up when the governor's son is by his side, fixing his gaze on his cute face.

"Shall we start? We will get an excellent attorney for your case, Mr Denver Nervar, against Don Angelito Marquez."

His surname is relatively familiar to Denver, but he doesn't give a deafening meaning. His hands are cold when flickering under his legs. On the other hand, Angelito is silent, observing the movement of his lips.

Tender, soft and pinkish lips he wants to kiss. The inspector is patiently waiting for his response, but his intimidating stare distracts Denver. He is palpitating when his ashy eyes are turning him into dust. Denver thought it would be a sleek transaction, but he doesn't know that it has to be facing the complainee.

Angelito is tranquil, waiting for his response. "I-I w-will pursues the lawsuit against h-him," he cannot talk straight when saying his feeling and side.

"Come again, Mr Denver?"

"I will sue him!" he shouts and looks at the handsome Don. Angelito's tedious eyes become lively when he is pumping up due to the exhilarating moment.

"Don't fool me, and I know everything—"

"Can you calm down in a second, Denver? I will complain to you for being harsh and making public scandal. The people around are watching here because of your voice," Medina explains briefly. Denver wants to cry when looking at the Don, but Angelito twitches a sweet yet sincere smile. "Why did you want me to send you into jail when I am the one who saved you?"

His heart wants to burst because Angelito's voice and face are so tranquil at every angle! His lips trembles when he stands up and confronts his body.

Angelito pats his head and kisses it softly. "I'm so sorry, inspector Medina, but this cute kid is still perplexed and having a post-trauma about his trial. All eyes are on him when he is convicted."

Denver's body froze in an instant. Angelito's not scared nor threatened by his words.

"We can settle this right now, Mr Denver. Remember, it's too expensive to file a case. You will get an attorney, and there will be so many hearings and procedures. What do you think? Don Angelito seems to be settling down this concern—"

"No! He is deceiving you!"

"How come? Always remember all the things you said will be used against you in court. Everyone is the witness to how he defended you and set you free," Lotus Medina said in a pleasing tone.

"H-He p-pushed them-man—"Angelito's mind cannot take to punch him in the face. Nevertheless, it's the opposite in reality because his thumb presses on his thin and reddish lips.

Denver silenced swiftly as he looked at him so cutely. The governor's son is still making a poker face to hind vulnerability.

"I will request or an attorney! My reputation was tainted because of you! Excuse me," he exited and thumped his feet on the ground. Medina winks at the Don to follow his disloyal prey.

Angelito glares his eyes when he goes the way without any people, and his car is parked there. Angelito walks at a fast pace to thump him on his car's window.

"HELP—"He covers his mouth, but Denver bites his hand! Angelito poorly whimpers and groans in pain because his teeth are now at these bones.

He thinks quickly, and before some people see them—Denver is now inside his car shouting.

"FUCK YOU! LET GO OF ME—"His voice halted. He can feel the cold blade on his carotid, waiting to slit his neck. Angelito looks at him calmly.

"Your life will not be the same again if you file it against me. Or you should talk to my blade? I bet this blade is more efficient in settling things down. Isn't it, Denver?" Angelito whispers so romantically.

He bites his ear that makes the other one flinch in terror. The poor cute boy cries again because the blade is now pushing.

"Do not move, or I will slit your neck for real. Choose… you will be alive or your mother—"

"D-Don't touch my mother, Angelito!"

He speaks calmly, "Maxine Joy Fronda Nervar… forty-five years old. April 1, 1976, currently working in a good factory. Your recklessness will put you in danger. I will make sure… I will be the one to kill your mother before your eyes. Remember my words, cutie."

Denver is covering his mouth while crying without any sound. His heart is beating so fast as his head vigorously shakes little by little.

"I don't want to be turned off by your cuteness. Do you understand, cutie pie?" he whispers thoughtfully, and Denver's fragile heart shatters in pieces.

Angelito makes him face the window as he pushes his face. He can see the reflection of some people outside, but he cannot shout because his face is squashed.

"They cannot help you when you're still inside my circle. You're considered as a witness, and my job is to clean them… bury six feet in the ground."

"A-Angelito," he stutters and forces himself to call his name. The Don makes him face his handsome face. He let go and caressed his fleshy cheeks.

"Yes?" Like this scenario—Angelito's heart is exhilarating in his victim's response. However, he doesn't want to kill them—he just wants to teach a lesson… but, his Papá doesn't want to be alive.

Meanwhile, when he is gazing at Denver… there's something peculiar about his charm and spiritual strength.

"Please don't kill my mom and me—"

He comes closer to his lips—inches apart to kiss. He loves to tease this cute boy. Denver forcefully closes his eyes.

"You're so gorgeous to be buried deep. You will not do anything stupid because my blade will talk to you next time. I don't want to ruin your face as you did to me."

Angelito throws his knife on the front seat. Denver's body quivers in disparate dread. His ashy eyes locked on him.

"Are we clear?" he asked for reassurance. The cute boy nods nervously. "I don't want to repeat myself. If you're available." He stops speaking and gets a pen. There's no paper, so he decided to turn his back and make him lean on the car seat.

"Don't move, I will scribble," he calmly ordered, and the pen's sensation tickles his body while Angelito writes his address on his back.

"S-Stop! I-It tickles!" He pestered. The Don finished his writing. "This way, it's safer. Look in the mirror and write it on a separate paper, and go to my place."

Angelito says in a grave tone. He opens the door and let him go outside, but Denver stops on the footstep.

"What will we do at your place?"

Angelito gives a complacent smile. "Are you curious now? Just go, and we will transact. Go away now, cutie pie."
