Hayden was regretting his decision to camp out instead of getting a hotel. It had started to rain during the night, which led to the discovery that his tent rainfly was missing, and his tent leaked without it. That meant he packed everything in his SUV and slept in the back. The bright sun shining into Mimi's bedroom woke her up. She squinted and looked around before seeing the time. The alarm clock on the nightstand read almost 10 a.m., which was much later than she usually woke up. Krista always woke her around 7:30 a.m. for breakfast. Krista inhaled sharply as she registered who was in front of her. She tried to slam the door closed, only to have Justin block it and shove it back into her, knocking her to the ground.
