Voldin’s POV

Bringing any pack to its knees made me happy. Ever since I fell, killing those who were nature’s children, such as the werewolves, and tainting nature’s servants, the witches, gave me an immense amount of pleasure. It was unpleasant for me to work with Sigrid, but it was the easiest way to get what I wanted. By using that to my advantage, I had other knowledge as well about the packs and their locations.

Sigrid wanted to rule, he would find there wouldn’t be much left after I was done. When the Night Goddess started sending those pesky angel hybrids after me I needed an ally, and I needed the soul orb. It trapped pure souls, angels that didn’t fall. Given how I fell, I was unable to touch the weapon that could kill them, it burned to the touch. And I didn’t trust anyone to wield the damn thing for me either. The only way I would be able to put my hands on it, would be with the help of a witch.
