Trenton’s POV
Getting to Clover Pack had been quick, Alpha Brandon let me in quickly ensuring that I hadn’t been followed. He must have been expecting me, which means that whoever else was working with Dalia had the alpha's blessing to do so.“You’re Trenton right?” Alpha Brandon asked quietly. I nodded. “I am to meet with a witch.”The alpha grunted. “Falon. That’s her name. This way.” He took me to a small cottage that looked like it had seen better days. The paint was chipping off and the shingles on the roof were looking rather worn. Vines were growing on the side of the cottage.“Alpha Brandon.” A woman with pale green hair and matching eyes answered the door and let us in. Her eyes flickered between us both and she smiled. “You must be here for the elixir.” She scurried away quickly and came back in moments with a vial and a piece of paper.“The vial is to be drank willingly, and the paper contains the words that must be recited if the vial is unwillingly drank. Should do the trick.”“This gets rid of someone’s wolf?” I asked incredulously. “Well, it kills the wolf. Not everyone lives after the death of their wolf, but what Dalia has informed us of with the girl, she won’t die. Just the wolf.” She sounded pleased with herself.“Alpha Brandon, forgive my curiosity, but wouldn’t this put you in open rebellion with the Shadow Pack?”He looked frustrated. “Yes, but only if they find out. Dalia’s proven herself to be quite the resilient and trustworthy helper. Assuming Alpha Drake remains clueless, this should go over quite fine.”“What is the point in doing this? How does this benefit your pack?” I couldn’t help but push for the information, I should have known better. His angry glare shot down any other questions I had for the matter. I put my hands up in mock surrender. “My father raised me to be a curious guy.” Was all I said as he led me from the cottage.Shifting, I quickly took off and made it to Shadow Pack faster than I had left it. As I got closer to pack lines I saw Viola in her wolf form once again, with a smaller brown wolf. He had no alpha genes or he would have at least reached Viola’s shoulder. Something prickled under my skin as I watched them, I couldn’t figure out exactly what it was. I let out a low growl moving towards them without consciously realizing I had done so.*****Viola’s POVThe black wolf stalked toward us sniffing the air. Derek growled at him and bared his teeth though this wolf was much larger than him, the wolf was as large as I was. I hadn’t realized how big I was as a wolf until I was with Derek, he explained alpha genes to me then. This other wolf must also be an alpha, or have the bloodlines of one. When he was merely a foot in front of us I recognized his scent, the misty breeze, his sweet yet intoxicating waves that seemed to make my entire being ache. It was the man from the day I met Vex. Or re-met Vex. ‘Who are you?’ I turned back instinctively and the other two followed suit. It was certainly awkward standing here with both of my mates while my ass was as naked as the day I was born but I kept that from my mind not sure what to do.“Trenton.” He answered not taking his eyes off of Derek who puffed his chest and growled."I'm Derek."
Although he was much bigger as a wolf, in his human form he and Derek were actually the same size. His eyes glinted with his anger as did Derek’s, they refused to look away from each other.
“You’re working with Dalia.” I balled my hands into fists fighting the desire I had as I recalled his taunting of getting rid of Vex.He looked at me with a devilish grin. “Am I?”I squished my face up. “You said it when you got Drew away from me. My mother had said my wolf abilities were becoming a problem.” I struggled to remember the words as I had been completely terrified and overcome with my desire to be near Trenton when I had seen him last.Trenton crossed his arms and leaned against a tree. “I do recall this conversation.” His eyes looked over my body hungrily. “I remember more the way your body fit against mine.” He was taunting Derek at that point, which if his growl was any indication, was working. That only made Trenton’s smile grow.“Why are you working with Dalia? She’s your mate too, I can smell it.” Derek spat out.“I haven’t decided whether I will help her or not.” Trenton shrugged as though it were any normal conversation. His eyes flicked to me again. “Two mates.” He mused out loud. Trenton walked towards me and put his hand on my neck while he caressed my jawline with his thumb as though completely oblivious to everything else. He seemed to enjoy provoking Derek with his interest in me. “Maybe I should help you instead.” Trenton spoke quietly still tracing my jawline.Derek grabbed my arm and pulled me towards him making Trenton drop his hand and snarl at him. His eyes were bright with anger.“What do you think you’re doing?” Trenton’s voice was venomous.“You’ve not made it clear what side you’re on here Trenton. Viola needs to be protected from that psycho case. A real mate would do that.” Derek snarled.Trenton growled and grabbed Derek by the neck pushing him against a tree. “If Viola were in any danger from me you’d be unconscious you fuck.” He dropped his hand. “As much as I’d love to put you on your fucking ass I weigh my options a bit more rationally. You’ll protect her if it kills you.”I watched as Derek took a ragged breath and glared at Trenton. “Fine.” Derek spat at him. “What are you doing about Dalia then?”“I haven’t yet figured that out asshole.” Trenton turned his back on Derek and walked to me, his eyes still bright with his frustration. “Really sweetheart this is beyond me.” He put his hands just under my breasts as he circled his thumbs on them, pulled me against him and kissed me. A fire grew in my stomach as I felt his arousal.I put my hands on his chest and pushed away growling at him. I didn’t make it far as he moved his hands to my lower back keeping me against him. “You may be mated to us both, but I’ll never hesitate to touch you in his presence because you are mine just as much as you are his.” He kissed me once more and dropped his arms. “I’ll be in touch Derek, keep an eye on her.”Stella’s POVViola was adamant about me attending this strategy meeting, I tried to tell her no and when she gave her reasoning for why I should, there just wasn’t a reason to say no.I recently found my mate when all of the other packs came to visit, I didn’t approach him, and he didn’t approach me either. Probably because of the vampire thing, but I knew he would be in that meeting and I wasn’t so sure being in the same room as him was a good idea.I sighed, Viola had a become my closest friend here, I didn’t want to tell her no anyway. I debated telling her about who my mate was, I was sure she could help. But it seemed like such a small thing compared to everything we were currently facing. Because of my father. Yup, that was the reason. When I went into the study with Viola and the alpha’s I could feel their eyes and judgment on me. Except for Viola, and maybe Alpha Danner of the Bloodrose Pack, my mate. I glanced at him once to see that he had his eyes trained on me, I couldn’t
Alpha Sigrid“What is your purpose here?” Voldin stood in front of me, glowering. “You killed two of my warriors to get here. Speak!” I commanded.Voldin hissed. “Alpha auras don’t work on Vampire Lords, Sigrid.” Voldin’s teeth lengthened. “If you had more competent warriors, they would not be dead.”I stood up and was in front of him in seconds. “What is your purpose here?” I repeated. Vampires were a pain in the ass to deal with.“My witch cannot do a location spell.” Voldin lifted his head. “I need to find someone of importance.”I laughed at the prospect of him needing a favor from me. So far, much to my displeasure, I have needed his help more often than not. Up to and including taking down Shadow Pack to the point where I could launch a full-blooded attack on Alpha Drake. I knew that Avery was no longer there…but perhaps she left something behind, something that would help me find her location.“Who do you wish to find?”He shook his head at me. “Not your concern. What should co
Avery’s POVThe sliver of light that began forming in my soul was all I needed to confirm that Viola finally had her wolf back. I had been bouncing from town to town, mostly rural areas, but it was all I needed to keep myself alive. It had been a whole month, possibly more, since I felt the first slivers of her wolf awakening.I hadn’t made it back to Shadow Pack, and I wasn’t sure that I should. When I left my mate, my love, my home, my heart ached for them every day. I felt the loss when he marked another, though I had rejected him and the pack.He thought I left willingly, and that is what I told Alpha Jake as well. Everyone thought I left of my own volition. Even Drake didn’t question what was happening, didn’t think I would have been forced. My rage bubbled inside of me as I thought of Dalia and Sigrid. How could it not?‘It won’t be much longer now.’ Aliah spoke in my head, comforting me. She always did. She was as angry as I was, and comforted me anyway knowing we would have ou
Viola’s POVAfter marking me, I laid there for a moment with my mates, my body was exhausted. They both had their heads pressed into the marks they put on me as they breathed in my scent. I don’t know how much time had passed that we laid that way, but we snapped out of it when someone began ringing Derek’s doorbell. They both growled as they got up and dressed. I frowned at the sight of their clothes when I remembered that they ripped my clothes off. I sighed. Trenton and Derek grinned realizing my circumstances.“I guess you need clothes, huh?” Derek teased.I growled and sat up, two can play that game. “I guess I could just walk through the middle of the courtyard naked to go and get some.”They both growled possessively making me bite my cheek to hold in my laughter.“Hold on.” Trenton said heading to Derek’s closet. He came out with a light grey t-shirt and shorts.I grumbled at the attire, knowing I would be able to change after I got to the pack house. Derek left to get the d
Viola’s POVRelaxing into my mates at the same time felt more right than I would have ever guessed. More natural than breathing even. They both held one of my hands as my butt was in Derek’s lap, with my legs draped over Trenton.I was getting lost in the sensations roaming my skin as they touched me and held me. The sparks I felt touching them before were nothing to how they felt now, it felt more intense, more intimate. Vex’s idea of both of them marking me together passed through my mind again as they held me. I was drawn to it but it seemed awkward as well, I couldn’t help but picture both of them naked with me, touching and caressing my body.My eyes snapped open when I remembered that they could feel my emotions now. They both looked at me knowingly, with smiles on their faces as a blush crept into my cheeks. I needed to learn how to control myself now, I was an open book! Dammit.I was sure they could smell my arousal on top of the feelings I was getting thinking about them bo
Trenton’s POVWhile Derek and I were getting information from one of the warriors about the different training they do in his pack, Viola’s emotions infiltrated my mind. Irritation, possession, jealousy. I knew Derek felt it too when our eyes widened at each other, because it wasn’t just Viola’s emotions we were feeling, I felt Derek’s as well, and I had a sneaking feeling that he could feel mine. What the hell? We looked to where we had seen Viola a moment ago.She was standing in front of two girls who looked like they were ready to fight her.“Uh, I could clearly feel some jealousy and possessiveness from Viola. Think they were checking out the goods?” Derek gestured to the two of us as he spoke quietly coming closer to my side.“I don’t think there would be any other explanation. Also, how are we able to feel her emotions now, like this, when we couldn’t before? Not to mention each other’s.” I was astonished.“I don’t know, but we need to do something or there will be two dead sh
