The pair in the living room of the small house feel into a comfortable silence. All you could hear was the click-clacking of Calista’s keyboard as she hammered out the report she was actually there for. Every once in a while, she would steal a glance at the person on the other couch and wonder how this happened. Morning came, and the light of the new day was filling the room and spilling light into their eyes as they lay on the floor of the living room covered in a blanket and each other.
