It was mid day, Mara was making an account of the number of baskets of food to be delivered to the orphanage when an epsilon delivered the message. "Luna, a case of theft has been reported.”

"Why are you reporting this to me? handle it,” she said, not bothering to look at him. "Something that belongs the Alpha was stolen."

"Yes?" she still didn't look up. Many things belong to the Alpha, in fact, the whole pack belonged to the Alpha so the epsilon was going to have to be more specific.

"The royal necklace was stolen." Now she looked up, eyeing the epsilon to check if he had gone mad.

"What?"

"Yes Luna. It was found on an omega and reported immediately," the epsilon delivered the message quickly. He, himself was astonished about the news and he couldn't wait to get back to his peers so they could talk about it.
