Chapter 1

Emily POV

"Emily enough is enough we are tired of feeding and clothing a useless being like you". my father yelled.

"Daring why bother arguing with her we can actually sell her to recover all we wasted on her all this while". My mom. said with much hatred in her voice.

I'm Emily, a wolfless she wolf, my parents despite me so much just because I couldn't shift on my eighteenth birthday ,they labeled me a wolf.

Today they had made up their minds to sell me out to slave trader, because they thought I would bring them wealth when. I'm able to shift and get to meet my mate. but everything changed I couldn't fulfil their dreams.

I got dragged into the car as we head for the slave traders base, I kept begging and crying to them to show me mercy but they only cared about the money they are going to get from the slave trader.

I'm not wolfless, the moon goddess is only playing a joke on me I can feel my wolf presence, I could feel her emotions,when she is happy and when she's sad, she just never talked to me.

we got to the slave traders base I was sold to them at a cheap rate, all I could do was blame myself for not being able to shift , they left me and went back home without a second look at me their only child.

every since then my life became miserable, it was hell for me, I got to eat once daily never had the opportunity to change my dress no have my bath.

it went on like that for a few days.

untill a strange make came to the base, I could smell the strong scent of lavender mixed with vanilla coming from him , I was stirred from the inside,my wolf who never show much of her presence growled out in my head for a second but didn't make a sound after that.

How much are you placing on her? he asked

"one million sir" the slave trader replied with fear written all over his face.

"I will take her from here ". the strange man replied

he walked closer to me, I couldn't help but get scared as he walked closer to me.

" what your name?" he asked.

" Em.......... Emily ". I replied scared of him.

" He moved closer to me dragging me by my arm as he pulled me out of the base roughly".

he signaled to his Bata to finish up the paperwork and meet up with him outside.

while on our way out side everyone we met bare their necks in submission, then I got a hint that he was no ordinary man.

"Alpha Alex". his beta Gabriel called, I'm done with the paperwork work we can leave.

His perfect shaped face that took my breath away,framed with heavenly blue eyes that looked right through my soul,skin of an angel Aura of a ruler…. He is my mate.

I was stunned, memorized by his sight alone making my heart skipped. looking into his deep eyes I could see his hate is disgust for me.

I didn't care much about it, hoping everything would change for good once he find out that I'm his mate.

The door of his car was open by his driver he pushed me into the car with caring if I got injured.

" Take me back" he told his driver would immediately start the car

I was amazed with his unusual behavior,l. giving me alot of questions inside. " does he know I'm his mate? does he care about me being his mate?

I didn't know what made me crawl to the corner wrapping my arms around my knee hiding my face as tears streamed down my eyes. at the usual behavior of my mate it saddens my heart alot

we were separated from the driver by a small security setup in the car that prevents the driver from seeing what going on at the back

I do not want to be seen, I want to hide somewhere and never come out. Maybe it was the shame of not having a wolf.

Before I could raise my head to look at him, I felt a large pull at me and I landed on his lap.

I gasp loudly in surprise, a strange spark runs through my body due to the closeness but all of it vanished soon because with his hands he tores my dress into two causing me to gasp in surprise covering my bare breast with my hands.

He threw away my clothes as if the smell disgust him.. the smell of the people and place I had stayed before.

"I don't need a mate". he said suddenly with hate and disgust in his voice

More tears roll down my eyes, but he doesn't seem to care about it.

He grabbed my hair in a fist and bent my head to look into my eyes. " Listen to me well, don't think I bought you because of the so-called pathetic mate bond". I don't give a damn shit about it.

" So, if you think it's going to be a fairy tale since I bought you out of hell, you are wrong and get this into your head that you are coming with me to become my slave".

All my hope got shattered at that moment I saw the hatred in his eyes. There was no sign of care or love that I had hope to find, it was just the darkness that was going to destroy me.

" Got it". He grabs my jaw in a painful grip.

My eyes were clouded with tears ready to stream out at his words.

" Good". He shoved me back to the corner where I was sitting.

It hurt my heart to see my mate having so much hatred for me, I couldn't blame him, why would he want a mate whose parents sold out for money.

Holding my tears in, I covered myself with the cloth he gave to me.
