I shot up from my sleep, covered in a thin layer of sweat. “Ma’am, your heart rate is elevated, are you ok?” Jarvis purred through the speakers in my car. Just the sound of his voice calmed me down, it helped me come back to reality. “Yes Jarvis, thank you.” I said, and adjusted my seat so I was sitting up. It was dark and we were on a thin stretch of road with no other traffic. I rubbed my hands on my face for a moment trying to shake the feeling of that leeches fangs inside my neck. I ran my fingers across the area where the bandage was from my kill earlier. I was surprised that the leech I just killed hadn't asked about it.
