Chapter 57

 

I was standing in the middle of Alex's room. My last memories of this room were when Xavier and I were planning his downfall, and somehow the afterward mess also flashback like a horror movie.

I unconsciously took some steps back but with a massive blow of wind in the house and the door shut with a bang making me jump.

My heart was pounding, sweat trickling down my back. I was sure I was royally f*cked.

 

"You are cool, Ray..., you are cool. You are effing ice burg Ray. Ice burg. Don't scream for lama God's sake, or all you shit of becoming brave will go down the drain," I said to myself, trying to assure I won't run out like a five-year-old whose panties got in the twist.

 

I slowly and slowly sat down on the same floor I was standing on, not moving slightly in horror that maybe some zombie would crawl out.
