Life has a way of throwing a person curve balls when they least expect it. Like a proverbial vortex of chaos and happiness, everything spun like a twister from one scenario to another. My life seemed perfect, it was just my mother and I for many years. I never imagined life could change the way it did. I can still recall the moment I met him. The man who became the only father I have ever known.

I owe everything to him, I never would have discovered my true self, never would have opened my eyes to the darkness right in front of me. To a world of supernatural’s I never thought was possible.

My name is Molly Fawns, my mother is Lucinda Fawns. We live in Liverpool, England. I have been here for as long as I can remember. I love this city. It is so fun, there are so many amazing sights. I wish I could say that life has been gloriously perfect. When you are a child, you are led to believe that then, one day you wake up and realize that life never is. For many years it was always mum and I. Some of my memory as a youngster is foggy. I remember running outside in the yard playing with dolls which she made. I was around four years old. I wore a white dress with lavender lace. I always wore white. Mother used to say it was a sign of my purity, and the purple sash she said was the symbol of my power inside of me. I never could understand what she meant. I used to think she was referring to the power of being a woman. My mother was always pro woman. She believed that women had the power to rule the world. One day, I saw her doing some strange activity. I thought she had not seen me. I was wrong.

Later, she had just given me some tea during our “afternoon teatime.” It looked pretty, like pink rose petals and tasted sweet. There was look in her eye like she was plotting my demise. I never thought anything of it, I believed that she was angry with me, I was a young child, and I did not realize how wrong I could be about the coming events that would steal away most of my life.

The following day, I was at school when I cried out in pain. I collapsed out of my desk chair. I was rushed to the hospital. I developed a severely high fever. I slipped into a coma for several months from what I was told.

I awoke six months later. Mother at once took me home to a new house. She had bought one in a different neighborhood, on a secluded street. It was just outside of the city. Quiet, and peaceful. We had a big backyard near a forest. I would love to say I had fond memories spent there. After I had awoken, we realized that I did not have any feeling in my legs. I became an invalid for several years. Mother began giving me mixtures that she created. She loved to invent new "drinks" as she called them. They looked ghastly and tasted horrid. This was her homemade medicine for my condition. She had never said what exactly my condition was. Doctors were baffled as to what happened to me, which caused me to be in such a state. I had attended school in the beginning, after coming out of my coma. The nurses at the school had me examined by doctors to try and understand my ailment. Each examination came back, that I was healthy. My doctors had told me that I had developed a deathly high fever at an early age. They had commented that the fever would not cause my coma or paralysis.

Mother says the fever spread all over my body and I lost ability in my legs. Within time, she found out about the doctors and banished them from seeing me. She also stopped allowing the neighbors to escort me to school. She hired a private tutor, and on days when I was not being taught, I was kept isolated in my room. She cared for me for years when she was home and not working. For a long time, it was just her and I. I felt so happy as a little girl. I loved the attention she gave me. There were days where I could not help but wonder why I did not have a father? I always saw other children with a mother and a father. It felt like our lives would be easier if I had a father as well. There other families seemed so happy and natural.

I never spoke to my classmates about my father’s absence. People would ask and I said that he was away on business. I would wait until I came home and inquire about my mother. When I first asked, she had a shocked and angry look on her face. The first time, she changed completely. Darkness filled her eyes, for a moment I was a bit afraid of her, I wanted to cringe, but I faked a smile while speaking to her. She would collect herself and change the subject. Over time, when I was constantly asking, she started to walk away from me. Some days she would suddenly become aggressive, and snarl at me. Broken hearted, I stopped inquiring about the mysterious man that I had never met.

Time, however, has a way of changing everything. Mother did not know her actions that she took set certain things in motion for me that she was not able to stop.

  • The Hybrid Daughter   Chapter 60

When I woke up, I realized I have been asleep for a week. I feel dizzy, I see a needle bandage on my arm, and I feel really woozy. I figured it out, she drained quite a bit of my blood. Enough to keep my asleep for a while. I sat on the bed. My hand is cuffed to the bed. She gloats about me being awake, she counter acted the spell, and she attacked me physically. She drained my blood to remove the traces of “dark arts” from my system. I am thankful she does not know about the” sleeping spell.” I try to sit up and I realize I have no energy to move. She drained that much out of me. I am terrified. I cannot even feel my wolf. I tried to use that mental trick again and reached out to David calling him.“Molly, oh my god, I have been so worried!” He sounds like he is crying.“David, I am chained to my room. I cannot move, she drained my blood” I feel his fear and fury through the connection. I hear my mother coming back so I pretend to fall back asleep. I continued to talkin

  • The Hybrid Daughter   Chapter 59

After we drive awhile, she stops the car, I notice we are not in town. She drives us towards an open field, I am terrified of what she is going to do. I then, not preoccupied with my thoughts; I notice the sound of a moan coming from the trunk. It smells like death.I see her go around to the back, her eyes are black, so I know my mother is not in control. Whatever this being is, it took over after the encounter with Markus. I cautiously glance over my shoulder, she is pulling a dead body from the trunk. My hand flies to my mouth in a silent scream. I see her walk into the woods, I have a quick thought about running. What good would that do? She may just track me down again.I see her in the woods, I understand why I can see and sense this well now due to my werewolf abilities. As I watch her, she looks like she is carrying off a dead werewolf. I recognize him. His name is “Aurelias” he was a pack warrior from Callan’s pack.I see her wave her hands, and he floats towards the trees. I

  • The Hybrid Daughter   Chapter 58

This weekend at Hunters has been absolutely amazing, besides the creepy friends that I never knew he had. There is a whole different side of my stepdad that I had never experienced before. I am not sure how he knows these people but, I get the feeling at times that they are eyeing me as if I am dinner, and not in a sexual way. This is why I mostly stay in my room, to myself while they are here.I met his friend "Markus" he was weird in the beginning; it took some time but, I warmed up to him. I think Hunter's threat was taken seriously; he never made any inappropriate actions when I was around. Marcus was a perfect gentleman, and I was hoping to think of him as a friend in the future. My greatest and very unwelcome surprise was my mother. She appeared at Hunters house unexpectedly. I had told her that I was staying the weekend with him, and she decided that would not be the case. She just would not leave well enough alone! What was even more odd was the strange look on Markus fa

  • The Hybrid Daughter   Chapter 57

We continue running until we are completely outside of town, and away from human notice. I look to the skies, searching to see if Lucinda is still flying around in search of us. We do not see Molly’s mother flying around searching for us. I slow to a crawl, shift back to human form. Once I see he has shifted back I punch him in the face, breaking his nose. He snarls at me, letting out a mighty roar and as he starts to shift, I upper cut him directly on the jaw knocking him into a tree. He lays still on the ground. I started to run through the woods again. I found a campsite; I searched through the tents for any clothes I could find. I fortunately found a plaid shirt and some jeans in my size. I quickly took it. Looking around to make sure that no one is present. I do not want to startled anyone by seeing in my nakedness. I look around and find a series of cars that are parked. I know this is wrong however, I cannot keep running in my wolf form, and I need to get to Molly as soon as po

  • The Hybrid Daughter   Chapter 56

The dark witch laughs, it sounds like the screeching of a demon. “Where are you going boys? The fun is just getting started” she snickers.I am glad I picked up more than one magic pill. I slip one to Callan, and through mind link tell him what it is, we swallow it quickly before she is aware. Suddenly, we watch as the car is completely ripped apart in seconds like it was powder. We staggered back. I growing tired of all this bull shit. I feel the attack trying to worm its way into me. I feel like I am standing behind a wall, and something is trying to hit me. I inwardly smirk knowing the “dark arts blockers” my grandmother calls them. I was overjoyed to know they were working. Callan and I stand on our feet. Her hands are moving, she is poising herself as if she is going to strike. I hear her start to curse in a weird language. Callan and I look at each other, and nod. When she raises her hands and her face to the sky with her eyes closed, both of us use our strength to punch her

  • The Hybrid Daughter   Chapter 55

“What the fuck?!” I whisper to myself.I feel the rage of my wolf. I catch his eye, he smirks and pulls over, stepping out of the car. I step out, and at once, I notice his ruffled appearance, I also snarl in fury as I smell the scent of Molly’s sex all over him. He looks at me with a smug look.“I told you, I would claim” he says with a smirk.Upon hearing him say this I saw red, and I shoved him into his car. My wolf is pissed and craving blood. It is not smart to piss off a wolf of my caliber. My ancestors made a name for themselves bathing in blood but, many do not know that my bloodline originates from the original Lycans that used to roam this country. The mythical monsters human nightmares are made of. This moron continues talking ignoring my wolf’s blood thirsty growls.“Man, you should have seen her, she is so hot as fuck, she did her best to resist, even threatened to call the police on me but, she eventually gave in to the feels I could inspire in her” he says with smugly.
