The Glowing-Eyed Figure

Having dinner with his family, Adams tried to figure out the best time to share the disturbing news with them. He was so sure that it would spoil the atmosphere around the dining table for everyone and he hated being the bearer of bad news that job had already been taken by his younger sister, Karen.

The meal of hot spaghetti and fish tasted sour in his mouth today. This is no disregard to Mrs. Bright's cooking, who, for the record, is such a great cook.
