It is late in the evening as Morana finishes dabbing the concealer on my eye very carefully. It covered the bruising well enough, but it can't take away the swelling. Although it covered the hickey's completely when she wasn't looking. My cheekbone has a big knot on it and around my eyes is super puffy. She uses makeup to try to distract from it but you can still tell that I have a shiner.
