It’s been three days, and the project is coming along nicely. I expected it to be difficult having both of them around, but Grayson had given me the space I needed, probably because he knew his presence was making me uncomfortable.

I was relieved he wasn’t coming around too frequently, only when he needed to submit the ones he'd written to Axel, who would then forward it to the group. The only problem was Bambi. She kept putting off the work and asking everyone to help her. It was exhausting, but Diego was willing to help her while all she did was make a fool of herself around Grayson.

I sighed and leaned against my locker. I was completely exhausted. Being a leader was not an easy task. I had to put every piece of work on the slide that would be presented on Monday, and some work was still incomplete.

“This is going to be an exhausting day for me,” I said to no one as I opened my locker to get my books for today’s classes.
