Entry 4: October 1950

I transported to the year 1950 with people with me, now they left me... Well, I was used to being alone. I went to the basement to get the toolbox there. This day I will remove all the wooden planks nailed on my windows.

The deafening silence was broken by the noise of the planks removed from the windows, and the cheers of people outside.

The once gloomy house was now filled with light by the sun. It feels good.

I removed my shirt to wipe my sweat off my body. That whole morning till early noon took me on removing all those barricades. For the first time after ten years I went out to the garden.

Weeds outgrown my herbs and flowering plants.

Dante followed me wagging his tail. I could say he was enjoying my company.

I took the weeding tool in the cabinet. Those ten years sure do fixed my house. Is my house immortal too?

I brushed that thought and started weeding my garden again.

I stopped after an hour of weeding and rest on the bench located near there. Dante sat looking at me, "Are you hungry?" I asked him while my arms were stretched to the bench.

Dante barked, I smiled at him. "Okay we'll stroll and buy foods. Wait for me inside. We'll date in the park."

I took a warm bath to remove all the dirt off my body.

I took a gold bar out of my safe and went out to take Dante on a date. I locked the house as well as the gate and we started walking.

Even though he doesn't have a leash , Dante obediently followed. We went to the bank to exchange the bar for cash. He waits for me outside. The transaction went quickly.

When I went out I saw a boy playing with him.

"Uncle Sam!" the boy ran to me and hugged me tightly.

It took me seconds before I realized that it was Geanne. I patted his head and knelt down, "Where's your mom?"

He smiled at me and pointed her at the grocery chatting with someone. "Mama, said he's my dad.”

"I'm glad that all of you were reunited." I faked a smile as I looked at him.

Why am I feeling this? Why do I feel pain?

"We gotta leave, Geanne" I told him and I stood up.

He smiled and hugged me again, he happily waved his hand goodbye.

Dante and I stroll and eat our breakfast at the park. I took a take away from a restaurant so we could freely eat at the green lawn of the park.

We returned home with lots of  groceries , I paid the cab the fare and went in our house.

Dante was jumping happily as we entered the house.

I think I almost spent one forth of the money to our groceries, good for two weeks.

Dante was happy and so am I.

"Let's get you bathe, okay?"

He ran away from me, I think he doesn't like it.

I chased him and got him a bath. I towel dry his fur and he's so fluffy.

By night, I arranged my bedroom, tomorrow we'll arrange the basement.

After a few hours of fixing and decorating, the bedroom looks awesome.

The king sized bed was complemented by the orange florals of the blue comforter, same goes with their pillows.

The drapes were satin white with maroon ribbon ties.

The newly polished floor blended perfectly to the room.

I am so exhausted, I sat on the bed and Dante sat opposite of me.

I scratched his fur and he loved it. I rests for a moment before I got up. I took the towel and went inside to shower.

The rushing flow of water that runs onto my skin makes me refreshed.

Thoughts came running back to me.

The first woman I met...Was the same woman that made my heart ache.

Yes, it’s Leana...

I must move on and forget her, to accomplish that I must start burying myself to a job...

I will prepare important documents so I could work.

I finished bathing and dried myself. I opened the wardrobe and pulled the white shirt and it's pajama partner.

I went to the kitchen to get some fruits for me and the snack I bought for Dante.

I am reading a book as I eat an apple, Dante also eats the milk bone that we bought.

We slept afterwards, I gave Dante my old king size pillow do he could sleep there.

He loves it that immediately he fell asleep...
