I arrive at the Alpha's house with Cassie. She is nervous and worried about Kate. Hell, we all are worried about Kate and the baby.

"Wait, before you go into the house, I need to tell you something. Kate is acting off, like not herself. I understand she has been through a lot. She was kidnapped, then fell into some strange sleep cycle, then drugged, but still, she offered Austin to me. It seems off. She would never do that," Cassie says to me.

"I will be able to link with her and see what is going on with her. So do not worry. We will take care of her," I say to Cassie.

I get out of the truck and walk up onto the porch. I am nervous for some reason. Cassie is right something seems off here. I open the door to the house and go inside. Alpha Erick meets me at the door.

"She is waiting for you up the stairs in the master bedroom. She wants to see you alone, Shawn," Alpha Erick says.
