"Is something bothering you, Bella? You look disturbed."

Bella got startled hearing Marcus' voice and the file she was holding fell from her hands in anxiety.

"Okay, what's the problem?" He asked, picking the file from the floor and putting it on Bella's desk. "You are definitely not fine, you look pale, what happened to you? Are you feeling sick, Bella?"

Bella swallowed the tight lump that formed in her throat and shook her head. "Fi…fine. I am fine. Just a little cold." She answered and opened the file again with her shaky hands.

Marcus frowned and held her hand, "You don't look fine at all, and it doesn't seem like a little cold," he said, feeling the warmth of her skin. "You are burning up in fever Bella."

Bella palmed her forehead. "I am fine." She whispered.
