Chapter-37

Everyone ceased their dance movements slowly, only the sound of music was audible. People stared at Aaron on the dance floor with a woman in his arms, whispering silently among each other.

"Mr Knight?" Stephen dared to break the silence with bewilderment by Aaron’s little stunt.

Bella gasped when she was suddenly pulled out of Stephen's arms. She was stunned to see that it was Aaron who yanked her away from the nightmare of her life. She suddenly felt secure with him around her. A sob left her throat when He pushed her behind him and stood like a protective wall in front of her.

"Any problem, Mr Knight?" Stephen's father asked in a polite tone. But Stephen's eyes were on Bella, his eyes held the look of power and superiority and with her senator father standing beside him, it added a bonus to his ego.

Aaron squinted his eyes to Miller, "Nothing, I just decided to leave," He said to Senator Miller in a tone which demanded submission. Then He gave a hard stare
