Chapter 12: Mission Impossible – part 1

"What is it that you want me to retrieve?" It puzzled me so much to think that the thing that my grandfather wanted me to get from the mansion was far more important than my life. "Why send me and not Red or my dad?" I questioned him.

"The invitation is for the El Latro leader, so your presence is important. Since your grandfather is about to step down from his position as organization head, it is appropriate to introduce you to everyone right now," according to Uncle Stephen, who went into great detail.

"I looked at the auction's list of things, and all you need to do is make sure to purchase item sixty-nine on the list. No matter how much it costs, you must win the bid; I don't care how much you spend on it." Grandpa emphasized it strongly.

"Uncle Stephen can place a bid on that; why did you ask me to do it?" I argued with him.

"Because I sent him on another mission. The place is filled with different types of dealers, and they need to get intel on the people who are trying to sell
