I blinked,

"Wh.... What girl are you talking about?" I asked Ina hushed whisper.

She scoffed, her eyes narrowing at me, "you're the mate aren't you?"

"No, of course not." I shrieked.

"Miss Eve, Miss Kyra would you like to tell everyone what you are both talking about?"

"Nothing," I said quickly, beating Eve to it, "Just explaining to Eve here about some of the answers she got wrong. Please continue with your teaching."

The warden looked like she was going to press for more, instead, she shook her head and faced the class, "Today, we'll be talking about etiquette and manners. And one week from from, expect a test coming, afterward, there would be no notification about any test coming up. As Lunas in training, I expect you all to constantly be prepared for anything. Understood?"

"Yes ma'am!" I chorused along with everyone, ignoring the daggers Eve was throwing at me. She wasn't even looking at the warden.
