Thanks to the bracelets they could also call each other which made Cassy think that this bracelet looked more and more like one of the smartphones of her world, except that there the conversation was really private because Steven explained to her that it was as if their two minds were connected and therefore they didn’t need to speak but just think to be able to communicate.

Once done Adrian told them, "He said he was on his way. I gave him our coordinates so it should be quick, and he told me that we absolutely mustn’t go alone and that we should wait for him."

Cassy then asked them intrigued, "What do you think is on the other side?"

Steven shrugged and said honestly, "If we had gone deeper into the forest we might have stumbled upon the old cache of a powerful mage or warrior and we might have discovered some fabulous stuff, but right n
