KLAY ROSE
"If you want to get revenge, we can help you with that."Rozen interrupted our talk as he appeared from behind. There were men standing behind him that I didn't recognize."I know you have so many questions and we will clarify that, just please stay." Rozen begged like his life was on the line.It would be such a sweet phrase to me, only that I don't know what to do anymore, including to stay away from him or not."The only question I have right now is where is George," I clarified to him. He's still a stranger to me even though my heart continued to race for him. "Unless you got me him, there's no talking.""Klay, that's rude." Sister Mary warned me. "Rozen saved our lives.""Sister, we are not sure of it. George's missing. And, what if staying here will make them go missing one by one." I said, trying to control my emotions."Aren't you just putting them in danger?" Rozen said again.I did not answer him. "Sister, do you know another convent where we can stay?"Sister Rizza sighed. "There's a convent, a hundred miles from here. The sisters were our classmates back in Theology. I'll ring them to ask if they can accept the children.""Klay, think about it. If you will go, the kids might be in danger along the way. What if they follow you there, how can we protect you?""She's right, Klay." Sister Mary said. "This is better.""Sister, what's better is for the kids not to experience all of these. If they stay here, then they might see something like this. Going to the city full of lights, tall building, will the wolf still get into them?" I curiously asked.Rozen sighed. He felt like he will not have a say on this."How about we bring you there?" He offered."I'll leave you two to talk, we are going to arrange the kids." The two sisters left us."No, it's okay. I believe it's you they are following. You will attract more if they find out that you are with me." I hysterically said, finally admitting that I am afraid to be with me.It hasn't sinked it in but this whole thing was terrifying for me. I hadn't even processed how to handle being a mate."I'm sorry if everything scares you," Rozen walked closer to me. He lifted his head, wanting to caress me but stopped mid-way. "I am sorry, but believe me...all I want is to protect you.""This is just too much to handle." I shook my head. "Right now, I just want to make sure they are safe. That's all I want. And, if you really want to help me. Find a safe place for us...away from this."He nodded. "You can try the convent, but know that you are always welcome here. If you need help, just call me.""Thank you!" I smiled at him. "I am sorry for being grumpy but I am just afraid. It's just all sinks in now." My tears started to fall as I held my breath."I understand. Calm down, Klay." Rozen pulled me close to him. I hate how with his touch, everything felt right. "I am here.""Yeah." I slowly let go of him. "Thank you for saving us. But, we have to go now.""Here." He pulled something from his pocket. "I know you will not allow me to come with you, so at least bring this with you." He handed me a gun.I shook my head. "I don't think it's a safe thing to carry.""It has a silver bullet in it in case...""I don't know how to use it. And, the kids might see it and be afraid of it.""Just pull the trigger..." He told me. "You need this.""A bow and arrow will do. If you have it." I suggested. The kids were having their breakfast when I entered the dining hall. Rozen insisted on preparing for us and I couldn't say no as the kids were happy to have some nice meal."What is your plan after going to the convent? How about university? Aren't you going to come back? Surely, you cannot just leave everything behind." Rozen asked me."I want to make sure they are okay, then I'll come back and fix my issues here. I just don't want anyone to be involved, Rozen." I explained to him."I'll wait for you, then.""Can you do something for me instead?" I asked a favor."Sure. I am happy to do that."I smiled at him. "Can you check the orphanage? And, let Micah know that I am fine. She might be wondering where I am.""Do you want to call her?" He offered."Not now." I smiled a bit. "I don't know what to say to her."Our conversation was when Missy spoke. "Sister Klay, are werewolves real?"We all looked at her. "What makes you say that?""That night..." She was stammering, looking at her food, and was about to cry. "I heard something and...and..."I immediately went to her. "You might just be dreaming. There are no werewolves. They are just legends, okay?" I kissed her forehead."Then, why are we leaving this place? I heard there are a lot of people dying in the woods. Is that because of it...and...""Missy, calm down." I hugged her and the sisters started to move her away from us, especially that the kids are starting to freak out."She might be right though. I heard it." Philip, the oldest kid, told me, while we are putting Missy to sleep."It's just..." I sighed. I also don't know what to say. "Take care of the kids now, Philip. You are the eldest and we need your help, okay?"He smiled a bit. "Are we really safe away from here?""We are safe." I lied as I tapped his back.I am not sure, either. Everything is unclear to me. Perhaps, there is only one answer for all of us to be safe."Did you leave anything?" Rozen asked when I called for him."I just want to say a few things." I said."Go on." He nodded. My heart was thumping as I formed the words."Rozen, I don't want you as my mate." I said, rejecting the legitimate lycan king.ROZENI woke up to find myself chained to a wall. I couldn't move my arms or legs, and I had no idea how I got here. As I looked around, I realized that I was in a dimly lit room with only one small window that allowed a faint light to seep in.Suddenly, the door creaked open and my father walked in, his eyes filled with anger and disappointment. I knew why he was here. He didn't want me to save Klay, the one person I loved more than anything in the world."Father, please let me go. I need to save her," I pleaded with him.He just shook his head, "No, Rozen. You're too important to the pack. We can't risk losing you over a human."I couldn't believe what I was hearing. My father, the one who taught me to be kind and compassionate, was willing to let Klay die just to protect the pack's interests."You don't understand, Father. Klay is different. She's not like other humans. She's my mate," I said, trying to make him understand the depth of my feelings for her.My father's expression so
KLAY ROSEAs I opened my eyes, I realized it was just a dream. A nightmare, actually. My heart was racing, and my breathing was heavy. I looked around the dimly lit room and took a deep breath, trying to calm myself down.I got up from the bed and walked towards the window. The moon was shining bright, and the stars were twinkling in the sky. It was a beautiful night, and I felt a sense of peace wash over me. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. But as I opened my eyes, reality hit me like a ton of bricks. I was still a prisoner, and there was no one to rescue me. I sighed heavily and walked back to the bed, feeling defeated.Trevor entered the room with a tray of food. "Good morning, Klay," he said with a smirk.I glared at him. "What do you want from me, Trevor?" I asked, my voice laced with anger."I want you to accept my offer, Klay," he said, placing the tray on the table."I will never accept your offer," I said firmly.Trevor shrugged. "Suit yourself. But remember, I hold a
KLAY ROSEI sat in the corner of the small, dark room, feeling hopeless and defeated. Trevor had been holding me hostage for what seemed like forever, and I had no idea if anyone was looking for me. I tried to stay strong and keep my head up, but with each passing day, my hope began to fade.Trevor would come in every so often to check on me and offer me food and water, but I never accepted it. I couldn't bring myself to eat or drink anything that he offered me, knowing that it was all part of his plan to keep me weak and submissive. As I sat there, I heard footsteps outside the door, and my heart began to race with excitement and fear. Could it be someone coming to save me? Or was it just Trevor coming to taunt me again? The door creaked open, and my heart sank as Trevor walked in with a smug grin on his face. "No one's coming for you, Klay," he said, his voice dripping with malice. "You're all alone, and you always will be."I gritted my teeth and glared at him, refusing to let him
ROZENI groaned in pain as I slowly regained consciousness. My eyes fluttered open to darkness, and it took a moment for them to adjust. I tried to move, but a sharp pain shot through my body, causing me to hiss in pain. I remembered the attack at the wedding, and the last thing I remembered was being hit by one of Trevor's wolves.I tried to assess my injuries, but I couldn't even move my head. I was paralyzed, and the realization hit me hard. I was completely helpless. I tried to shout for help, but my voice came out as a hoarse whisper."Hello? Is anyone there?" I called out, but there was no response.I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, trying to calm myself down. I needed to think clearly and come up with a plan. I couldn't just sit here and wait for someone to rescue me. I had to find a way to escape.I forced myself to stay calm and focused. My mind raced as I tried to remember everything I knew about Trevor and his pack. I knew they had a hideout deep in the forest, and t
KLAY ROSEI couldn't believe it. Just as I was walking down the aisle, ready to start a new life with Rozen, Trevor and his pack of werewolves appeared, ready to ruin everything. Micah and the kids were screaming in terror, and chaos broke out.I drew my sword, ready to defend myself and my loved ones. Rozen stood beside me, holding his own sword, his eyes filled with determination."Trevor, what do you want?" I shouted at him, my voice shaking with anger and fear."I want you, Klay," he replied, a sinister grin spreading across his face. "You're the key to unlocking the power of the lycans. With you by my side, I'll be unstoppable."I felt a surge of disgust at his words. I would never ally myself with someone as evil as Trevor."You'll never have me, Trevor," I spat at him. "I'll fight you with every last breath in my body."We clashed swords, sparks flying in every direction. Rozen joined in the fight, battling against the other werewolves that Trevor had brought with him.As we fo
KLAY ROSEThe day of our wedding was fast approaching, and Rozen and I were busy with the preparations. Micah and the kids were there to help us, too. It was going to be a small wedding, just close friends and family, but we still wanted it to be perfect.Micah was in charge of the decorations and she did an amazing job. The beachfront was adorned with beautiful flowers and ribbons, giving it a dreamy and romantic ambiance. The kids, on the other hand, helped us with the food and the cake. It was a lot of work, but we all had fun doing it together. As I was getting ready, I couldn't help but feel nervous. I knew I was marrying the love of my life, but I couldn't shake off the feeling of worry. What if something bad happens? What if Rozen's father attacks again? What if we can't protect ourselves and the kids?Rozen noticed my unease and came up to me, taking my hands in his. "Hey, what's wrong?" he asked, looking at me with concern."I'm just worried, Rozen," I admitted, looking into
