Shattered

"Gael, where are you going?" Hrolf questioned. He got up from the marble tiles he had been kneeling on and walked toward the door.

Gael turned to face him with teary eyes. Hrolf felt his heart stop when he saw his son's eyes.

"Why are you crying?" He asked. His voice was low and filled with emotions

Gael sniffed while rubbing his hands on his snort.

"You didn't answer me, dad, don't you like me anymore? Is that why you don't want to?" He asked.

" Noo, noo, you know I love you too much to deny you of anything all you have to do is say it and I will get it for you," Hrolf uttered.

" Then why aren't you answering my questions about my mother? Did you lock her up again?" He asked.

Hrolf palmed his forehead. Raising a toddler wasn't easy. He had been doing a great job all this while and it seemed like all of that bad changed since Ashina came into Gael's life. Gael had not only liked her, but he had also taken her as his mother.

"Your mother is fine. She will be here soon," he answe
