Chapter 9

Zephyra

I woke up at the crack of dawn; I had never felt so alive and at peace… I turned in the arms of my mate, my true love and played with his hair while he slept; he looked so at peace here next to me. I relived the scenes from last night in my head as I touched my mark. I closed my eyes to fall right back off to sleep in his arms; I started experiencing flashbacks of a woman that looked a lot like Olivia jumping through a window with a bundle that was concealed away in her arms. I could hear a woman’s scream and cry; she sounded like a heart broken mother, I woke up sweating; I looked in Nates direction and he was still sound asleep.

I sat on the chair outside on the balcony and tried to figure out what these dreams or flashbacks meant. Why did this woman’s cry in my dream make me pine for her and I cannot even recall her face clearly. I had to find my answers; but I first had to go to Czech Republic to meet Antoni
