Chapter 8

Zephyra

I woke up with an enormous headache; I slowly opened my eyes and took in my surroundings, this did not look like the nightclub bathroom, I felt the soft pillow beneath my head and the bed sheets under and over me; I shot up and looked under the covers, I was in a baggy t-shirt. I looked around the room and found Nate sleeping on the couch; then like lightening it struck me, we were in his hotel room and I remember him carrying me and then I blacked out again.

The light was still on and I slowly made my way out of bed and over to where Nate was asleep, I noticed how his eyebrows were creased together by worry. My wolf piped up, “Mate”, I pulled my hand back and my wolf and I had an internal argument
