Chapter 41

Elijah pulled me off his shoulder and threw me onto our bed. He kneeled on the bed beside me and leaned over kissing me softly on my lips before telling me to stay still using his seductive, husky voice. His voice alone was enough to send tingles all the way down my spine. I loved it when he took charge like this but there was something inside me that couldn’t resist challenging him and pushing him to be even more dominant.

“What would you do if I didn’t?” I asked.

A small growl rumbled through his chest as he moved so he was even closer to me.
