Chapter 28 - Where is she?
Ethan POV
It’s been a week since my argument with Mel. She hasn’t come by or texted me. I’ve tried calling her a couple of times but her phone is going straight to voice mail.
How much of a princess is she? She’s not even trying to talk to me. I know I was a little too much. But I really don’t like people making decisions about my life without asking me first. She stepped over the line but I like her way too much to stay away from her. This has to stop right now.
I walk out of the flat towards the lift. I press the lift button and when the doors open I am greeted by Mrs Lovegood, she is a sweet lady that lives in the penthouse. She struggles to walk so sometimes I do her food shopping. Doesn’t really hurt to help people out when we can.

Ethan POVIt's been a couple of months since the kidnapping and Amelia is finally going back To work. I couldn’t be prouder of her. She has joined me in the gym after deciding to go after the British mafia. We have been training a lot. Her fighting skills improved a lot and she is more confident about her fighting. We were training shooting as well but that she is perfection. Never missing the target and always doing what she was setting up herself to do. Gabe had been helping her with strategies and offering some of his soldiers to help her target the British. She is becoming so focused that sometimes it scares the shit out of me. Gabe and Raphael are obviously happy with Amelia taking over the British mafia, it’s one less group to compete with them.

Ethan POVAfter Sandy left I couldn’t stop thinking about what was happening. How was I going to tell Mel that I was going to be a father? How am I going to explain Sandy to her? I never liked one night stands with people I didn’t know. So we became kind of friends with benefits. But then she became too clingy and I sent her away. I am not proud of this but I ghosted her.
