I stood outside the packhouse, waiting for my man.

He had just mindlinked me that he had entered the pack after being away for a whole day.

My stomach was still knotting in nerves, and I knew I would only calm down when I saw him. When I confirmed that he was really ok.

It'd been a long day of waiting for him with bated breath, worried sick that something might happen to him while he was away.
