The atmosphere was solemn as I walked past people demurely dressed. There was no music but I could almost imagine a quiet piano playing at a far distance. Clutching onto my shirt, I refused myself from shedding more tears.

I walked up to her open coffin and saw her dressed in a white gown, even in death, she was beautiful. I wasn't there for her, I could've been stronger. She fought for me and I couldn't do anything to save her.

I had to watch her die just as I watched my family die.

“Lily!” I jerked up abruptly, screaming out her name and hoping she was right there. It felt like a nightmare had happened.

I raised my hands to my cheek to feel the warm tears that dropped down.

Then I began to take note of my environment. Hospital, again.

I could never forget the smell of it, it made me nauseous.

“It wasn't a dream Katherine,” I heard Frey say but I shook my head.

“It was. I prove it.” I denied, hopping off the bed and yanking the needle that was pierced into my skin
