Chapter 12: Do I Love Her?

There is something about her that simply won’t allow me to rest until I see her again.  It wears at me and everything I do, like a worm that burrows through an apple.  So, the minute we get home, I go right to her room. 

“Knock”

I knock on her door and wait for her to answer it.  After a few minutes, I unlock the door and open it to find her taking a nap on her bed.  She looks absolutely beautiful with her hair spread across her pillow like an angel with a halo.

The last thing I want to do is make her scared again, but I need to wake her so I can talk about my day with someone.  I am hoping this will ease the stress between the two of us.  Maybe even help her understand everything a little more of how the werewolf territories work.  Who knows?  One day she may even rule them with me.
