I took off the Sapphire Moon ring from my hand and passed it to the person delivering the potion. "This is the payment I promised. Please thank the witch for me."

After saying that, I tilted my head back and drank the potion in one go.

The medicine took effect almost instantly.

A bitter taste flooded my mouth. It felt as if ants were chewing through every inch of me as sharp, unrelenting pain ripped through my body.

I clutched my chest and dropped to my knees, my expression twisting uncontrollably.
