Gently pulling Will away from my embrace, I asked sniffing,

"What did you say, son?"

"I said I love you," he repeated, his cheeks red as his eyes darted left and right.

My heart swore, tears rolling down my cheeks as I pulled him closer, hugging him like my life depended on it.

"I love you too, son. I love you so much!" I could literally scream it to the world. It was as if I had won a battle of so many years. Will remained in my arms, this time, he wasn't scared nor was he trying to pull away from the hug.

I don't know how long we remained in each other's embrace but the next thing I heard was the sound of Will's stomach grumbling.

I quickly pulled away realizing that I had taken too much of his time forgetting that he had not eaten since he came back from school.

"Why don't you take a bath and dress up then we would go down and have dinner?" I asked and his eyes twinkled.

"Can you stay, please?" He asked and I quickly nodded.
